  1. We STI boys (and girls) are getting humped Band G >225g/km this year goes up from £210 to £300 and from April 2009 to £400.
  2. Also if you want convert sound files or play about with them get Wavepad its free. www.nch.com.au/wavepad
  3. Only made part of the run but good day out. Thanks to all that organised today. Looks like I had better weather than you on the way back. Sunshine and dry roads, great to be on B roads with no traffic. Looking forward to the next one.[]. My cousin was kicking himself that he didn't bring business cards to hand out, he works for a chemical company that sell methanol.
  4. Is it not for the wiper motor on JDM models?
  5. I'll have a set for my Subaru Diesel please! Lots of magnets in and around the engine bay can't be good.
  6. Defo the new ones and keep the others for KH.
  7. No, just meeting at Stirling Services. Know he works in London during the week so could be on his way back.
  8. No contact number but meeting him tomorrow at 9 buying his P1 backbox.
  9. Must be something in the food. I said I wasn't modding the car since my first meal last week I've bought a backbox and had a strong urge to by a dump valve. Either that or he is a master of mind games.
  10. Back on boost maybe you'll first to Pete's next time.[]
  11. Well said John couldn't agree more, another good tip is smile nicely at them when your behind them at the next set of lights you never know it may make them realise that for all their haste they never real gained that much.
  12. Last time I used carparks like this was in Manchester about 15 years ago never even gave it a thought as I handed my keys over. Carparks I used seemed legit though gave you a small envelope with 10p to phone when you landed and got you to note the mileage on the envelope.
  13. Just got a set of F1's compared to Potenza's better in the wet and smoother ride but RE070 are better in the dry. Haven't tried Toyo's so can't comment. Best deal I found for Goodyears was at www.valuetyres.co.uk or mobile fitting www.etyres.co.uk.
  14. No plans to do knockhill but if I do would get a set of trackday wheels and get 2 part worn 070's as I'm keeping the two good tyres. Crail is a big possible for this year would be good to see what a standard STI would do(before mods - sshh don't tell the missus).
  15. Got a price from S & S £ 310 for two. Can get a set of 225 F1's for £345. Anyway going for a set of 235 F1's.
  16. Need two new tyres sticking with the 225/45/17 RE070's as other two are ok. Seemingly Bridgestone have 96 on back order and delivery isn't for 2-3 weeks. Anyone know of any for sale? If I can't get them I will get 4 F1's. Is it ok to go to a 235/45/17. I know JDM cars run 235 Bridgestones but was wondering about the Goodyears.
  17. Drive mine everyday for work, find your are less likely to get a wave Monday to Friday. More likely to wave to modified, big spoiler, well looked after or special editions both classic and newage. At the weekend I wave to all. Hopefully the non-beleivers will see the light. []
  18. Saw the WR1 at S & S today very nice was traded in for an RB320. Don't know who though.
  19. Sorry to hear. Was looking forward to see in the car once it was at full speed.
  20. White and a power washer to keep it clean.
  21. At least with DRB5's car you know what you are getting and all mods have been done properly.
  22. I'm 35 and 6 years NCB, the range of quotes I got in September were from £700 to £2500 so its not just the younger driver.
  23. First White Hawkeye STI I've seen. Very nice.[]
  24. I get about 17 to the gallon but I worked out that I am sitting in traffic for 13.5 hours a month getting to and from work so might have something to do with it.
