  1. If your running Potenzas it may also be a factor as when I had them on, the car wasn't as sure footed in the damp/wet. Now on Goodyear F1's better for the Scottish weather although might get a second set of wheels with Potenzas for summer.

  3. Glad to hear the DS2500's are worth the money, due a change and only had 8.5k out the originals.
  4. Can't make it during the day but why not stop of at KT on the way back for a bite to eat. Then anyone there could have we run to drop Ron back at base.
  5. I like my gay PCD....Fact[]
  6. Wait 'til the tree hugger see a load of Scoobies pull up and pollute their environment with fumes and noise.

  8. I got £6.5k off a blobeye STI in September and the deals they are doing on Spec D's just now your lookin good for a cut price Hawkeye. Unless everyone wants one due to the new shape.
  9. Go for it and order a big spoiler.
  10. I'd be up for the 15th. Would like to see what my bog standard STI(no PPP) would do.
  11. Why not keep it simple Classic, Newage and Hatchback for the 2008 model.[]
  12. Looking at getting prodrives myself. You don't get fitting instructions as manufacturers expect them to be fitted by a competent mechanic. Bump stops the originals are re-used. Regarding settings there are plenty members who will have these. If you don't get a response post up Group N tarmac settings. This was posted a wee while ago by Gus. Ac!D: is the group N tarmac settings better than prodrive ones? YES! and fyi group N is the same as "fast road" setting. tbh Prodrive is a bit harsh a setting for our roads as with the camber on uk roads you will generally get a pull to the left from the steering with Prodrive settings. Group N or fast road settings are more in tune with the road conditions/formation we have in the UK.
  13. Peter, Better take a big suitcase and hope customs don't stop you on the way back.
  14. I think they should have gone down the path of the Prodrive P2, a great car and would have guarantee sales.
  15. Thanks Stephen might take you up on that at the next meet if time allows. Peter considering getting it done when its in for the first service, but if not I know your are the man to talk to.[]
  16. Thanks Peter and Craig. Prodrives it is then, will get Subaru to do it that way my warranty will still be good when the shocks go.
  17. HM Treasury say G is for cars after 23/03/06 and over 225g/km. Check your V5 for Date of Registration and Co2 Level. Don't see what people are complaining about if we heat the world up enough the UK will become tropical and we can all save on flying abroad.
  18. Manufacturer's figures lots of site like Parkers give the stated CO2.
  19. Thanks St3ph3n, High Tech's are 29/17 and 20lbs/in less than the S-Tech's so should be a slightly softer ride.

  21. Best advice is don't rush into buying a Scooby, they can be expensive if you get one that hasn't been maintained. If you see a car you like ask the forum someone my know the car or the previous owner.
  22. This is for sale. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/916791.aspx
  23. Considering lowering the car, don't want to lose to much ride quality as use my car daily for business also have two young kids. Have been considering getting Prodrives but was looking at the tein website and notice they do High Tech springs. Has anyone fitted these or have most people gone for the S-Tech? Also does anyone have the ratings for the Prodrive springs to compare them with Teins?
  24. I was under the impression that it was only Scoobies on the list. Fee has posted a time for her Scooby but not her Skyline. Also a load of Scottish Scoobies member have bikes, if they run them down the 1/4 mile do we include them, if someone has a drag car do we include them where does it stop. I think keep it to Scoobies thats what this forum is about and thats why we are members. The other option is start another thread for Non-Scooby times to keep things tidy.
  25. Great vid, will hopefully may the full run next time.
