  1. Peter, Better take a big suitcase and hope customs don't stop you on the way back.
  2. I think they should have gone down the path of the Prodrive P2, a great car and would have guarantee sales.
  3. Hope your right Phil. I like the fact my car is different from you run of the mill Honda or Mazda, and this just doesn't do it.
  4. Thanks Stephen might take you up on that at the next meet if time allows. Peter considering getting it done when its in for the first service, but if not I know your are the man to talk to.[]
  5. Thanks Peter and Craig. Prodrives it is then, will get Subaru to do it that way my warranty will still be good when the shocks go.
  6. HM Treasury say G is for cars after 23/03/06 and over 225g/km. Check your V5 for Date of Registration and Co2 Level. Don't see what people are complaining about if we heat the world up enough the UK will become tropical and we can all save on flying abroad.
  7. Manufacturer's figures lots of site like Parkers give the stated CO2.
  8. Thanks St3ph3n, High Tech's are 29/17 and 20lbs/in less than the S-Tech's so should be a slightly softer ride.

  10. Best advice is don't rush into buying a Scooby, they can be expensive if you get one that hasn't been maintained. If you see a car you like ask the forum someone my know the car or the previous owner.
  11. This is for sale. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/916791.aspx
  12. Considering lowering the car, don't want to lose to much ride quality as use my car daily for business also have two young kids. Have been considering getting Prodrives but was looking at the tein website and notice they do High Tech springs. Has anyone fitted these or have most people gone for the S-Tech? Also does anyone have the ratings for the Prodrive springs to compare them with Teins?
  13. I was under the impression that it was only Scoobies on the list. Fee has posted a time for her Scooby but not her Skyline. Also a load of Scottish Scoobies member have bikes, if they run them down the 1/4 mile do we include them, if someone has a drag car do we include them where does it stop. I think keep it to Scoobies thats what this forum is about and thats why we are members. The other option is start another thread for Non-Scooby times to keep things tidy.
  14. Great vid, will hopefully may the full run next time.
  15. We STI boys (and girls) are getting humped Band G >225g/km this year goes up from £210 to £300 and from April 2009 to £400.
  16. Also if you want convert sound files or play about with them get Wavepad its free. www.nch.com.au/wavepad
  17. Only made part of the run but good day out. Thanks to all that organised today. Looks like I had better weather than you on the way back. Sunshine and dry roads, great to be on B roads with no traffic. Looking forward to the next one.[]. My cousin was kicking himself that he didn't bring business cards to hand out, he works for a chemical company that sell methanol.
  18. Is it not for the wiper motor on JDM models?
  19. I'll have a set for my Subaru Diesel please! Lots of magnets in and around the engine bay can't be good.
  20. Defo the new ones and keep the others for KH.
  21. No, just meeting at Stirling Services. Know he works in London during the week so could be on his way back.
  22. No contact number but meeting him tomorrow at 9 buying his P1 backbox.
  23. Must be something in the food. I said I wasn't modding the car since my first meal last week I've bought a backbox and had a strong urge to by a dump valve. Either that or he is a master of mind games.
  24. Back on boost maybe you'll first to Pete's next time.[]
