This aint gonna be any help but i was gonna post a question which maybe be the same. 80% of the time if i get the boost up to around 1 bar,but with only part throttle i get like a constant chirp/screech form somewhere.hard to describe.can hold it part throttle on boost and the noise will stay.goes away if full throttle though.Noise wasnt there before,even after mods. i'v swapped DV from recirc to atmos and back and still same.car runs fine still. P1 with full decat,FMIC,CAI kit running 1.45bar sorry for hijack but maybe be the same []

em.....i dont think so. my old mans type uk classic didnt dim.although he was bad at working buttons on the stereo to turn the option on maybe? my P1 def doesnt though.

Hey folks. I have a P1 with some mods. Was mapped to 1.4 on defi, with 1.5peak sometimes but dropping off after a sec, by Andy F (was told defis normally 0.1 higher for safety) anyway, noticed for last few days its getting quick peaks of 1.6 and settling 1.5. I'm wondering if the ecu can adjust the boost higher for fuel quality,as i'm now using v-power,or something like that. or whether theres something wrong with a valve or the control side?Was mapped with safety margine as Andy norm does if wanted. cheers Brian

hey this got me thinking. Cant mind when i joined,sure it'l say on my post but how often does the mag come out? I forgot all about it. Dont think i'v ever had one apart than with my joining pack?

not sure if the timing would also do that but if a plug lead has been knocked out or something like that it would rock badly.

Alright folks. I have a Scoob P1 which was remapped a few months ago by Andy. It was mapped to 1.4bar on the defis. The car was then off the road for 6 weeks (not my fault, dont get me started!! [:@]). Got it back the other day. New clutch and gearbox fitted. Now the car feels fine but the boost is back down at 1.2 bar. Which is standard. Anyone have any ideas what could cause this? Battery was off the car too. I will e mail Andy for his opinion but thought i'd try here. Thanks Brian.

I went for the stage one mods not too long ago. same kinda lines as you. 3" aps full exhaust. decat. APS CAI kit. fuel pump. plugs upgraded as Andy F advised. NGK 7bs is it? instead of 6bs. I think! [:$] memories not good when just out of bed. After ecutek remap boot set at 1.4 bar. Oh with FMIC too though. Andy F advises that i wouldnt need a boost controller

Mines has changed since the start of the thread. still 25 years old. 5 years no claims now. FMIC,full exhaust,induction kit and remap. all declared on policy (for once) [] Protected no claims, P1 £975.

i tried most places listed on the Tein Uk dealers page. i think maybe one place or so had the superstreet kit but that was a while ago when i only wanted the basic. Most places only have the superstreet with top mounts in stock which are even more expensive. I'm sure tein told me theres only a few superstreet kits left in uk. [8-)]

Hi. I used to have a Green Cotton filter on my P1. It was a dry panel filter an was told it would be safe. Now i dont care and have an APS CAI kit though. []

hey, just thought i'd say that i have the APS 3" full system on my car,but with cat bypass. Very well made kit and sounds great! []

Remap went well. Cant say anythin bad about it. running 1.4 bar now so feels better [6] Seems neverending though eh? Now i'm thinkin again that i'm only a few grand away from more power []
