  3. Hey. I decided to insure all my mods (for once) [:$] My company the now were cool about it, FMIC-Filter-Exhaust. Although explaining what a FMIC was,was a nightmare. My renewal was though a bit more expensive than i wanted so tried another online. Never had option of FMIC on list so i tried a 20% power increase as the worse one. Quote was cheaper so i phoned them up.............................big mistake. 10mins of explaining what a FMIC is and he comes back, confused, saying he cant cover me!! They need to get someone who knows a bit about cars!! Also i was thinking they may aswell have had a call center in India, as you'd think i was speaking a foreign language to the English dude. Sorry, but just needed a rant [:@]
  4. Mapping was good. cars running well.................. I touch goats!
  5. Cheers folks. Think i'll order some Tein superstreet. Fully adjustables. Looked at some of there official dealers and the prices are even cheaper than on the tein site, delivered. [] Like it was said, 4 fully adustables for the price of 2 OE shocks. ( oops 2 posts and cant delete) [:$]

  7. Hepy, with mine the ride and handling feel ok. I get the odd clunk from the back, but the other day i had 2 folk in the back and the extra weight was making it clunk loudly over every bump . Jacked the car up and tried moving each individual wheel in and out, like you would check wheel bearings.I was able to move the wheel slightly in/out. I saw there was play in the shock where the shaft slides up/down. Could feel it moving with ma thumb when moving wheel. Brian
  8. Hi. I'm needing 4 new shocks for my P1. 3 are goosed. Was wanting to keep standard spec as i heard the STI shocks on the car were good. Prodrive spec i also heard? Anyway was just quoted £1100 from a main dealer.not sure if that even included VAT as i just hung up shortly after the price [] So anyone got advice on shocks on their P1? Aftermarket stuff with same sort of spec? ie not harder? Just want handling to be as it was so not needing fully adjustable doo-das. cheers

Going to be running around 330bhp or so, and looking for a clutch that can take a bit of abuse up the quarter mile with the odd full bore starts [6] Want to keep it drivable around town though as much as poss.
