Rednosespeccltd Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Just a hello to everyone, been on scoobynet for years as bluenosewrx, never really followed everyone over to here when they had the big split as i had sold the scooby and got a 350z, now sold that and got a MY04 Spec C LTD in Red,decided to join. Live in the Motherwell/Hamilton area and looking forward to meeting some people, can anyone recommend the garage in Wishaw for servicing etc. Thanks. Mac[]

Fee Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Not had a car serviced at The Garage, but they've done a fair bit of work on the Skyline and would definitely recommend them

ormiboy Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Howdy mate, and welcome. Been drawn to the 350Z`s myself for a while now any advice on them in general? Cheers Willie
Rednosespeccltd Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 Very good car, really good accelaration and handling was spot on, could have some fun in the wet wi the Traction control off.had some scary moments though (think tyres were 30% to blame),seats were a bit sore on the bottom of my back.quality of cabin etc was better than the sccob and looks really cool, all the toys and servicing was cheap enough, once a year or 10 or 12k intervals.very refined overall.[] Parts were not cheap,£120 for a headlight BULB, 2hrs stripping the bumber off to fit it,total £220.[] pads all round cost £350.[:'(] missed the handling and space in the scoob, two seats and struggle on the golf clubs is not to good. Would reccomend one to anyone, although get a UK one as the are more equipped than the Jap equivelent, Scoobs are the opposite, lol Jap is better than UK IMO of course.[Y] and this Spec C is pure mental, not went over 6k revs yet as it scares me,lol Dont want to start a row on my first couple of posts about UK and JDM. Mac
Rednosespeccltd Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 Yes mate, thats my new toy, thanks for posting them up mate, appreciate it!!! just put the STi stickers back on the foglight covers and waiting for some custom mudflaps to get made. Red is by far the rarest and fastest colour by far.you dont get uk STi's in Red either, lol Mac
