  1. Not many FSTi for sale at the moment, car planet have a nice white one. Mac
  2. Glad you got it sorted mate, i have used KM for my Spec C, Hawkeye and now RS4, the RS4 is the same to insure as my Hawkeye but worth 16k more, Crazy i know but i am not complaining ,lol Gary is hard to get hold of but i have genearlly got hold of him and even a PM or thread on Scoobynet gets him quiker sometimes. Mac
  3. What kind of work are you getting matea and what sort of cost,PM me if you like. Mac
  4. So what are the costs of painting versus powder coating???, the RS4 wiil prob need it done in the future and dont know which route to go down, will be going either matt black or gloss black. Any painters near Hamilton/motherwell?? Mac
  5. Best has to be my current car: Worst has to be my first car, a deisel escort estate bought when i was in Germany for 3000 Marks, was a right heap, lol MAC
  6. I feel for you mate, really do. This has got to be someone you know, there is no way some random ned walks about with paintstripper to have a laugh. Its not cheap and looks like it must have been quite a big bottle, could be someone you pissed of ages ago and has now taken revenge, also its the best time to do this as it is shi* weather and hardly anyone about and if its snowing no CCTV would get them. Sorry, i am just trying to think like them to give you a possible explanation.also you would not beieive the number of jelous neighbours about, especially the car loving jelous types. 7. I usually use Bellshill or Hamilton and the price is a pure joke in general, robbers the lot of them. The new Tesco garage across from the shell in bellshill sells 99 and also is mobbed all the time making the bellshill shell quite quiet which is good. You are a tightwad Kenny, lol. i stopped worrying about the price years ago as i would just get raging all the time, life is too short and its only going to get worse as the blame the climate change to squeeze more money from us. Mac
  8. I had one till recently when she got a full time job, cost £12 a week for 2 hours work, was really good and i miss her work a wee bit, not her as she was quite a large unit, lol. Mac
  9. I have not even bothered tp play the game, straight online for me, getting used to all the maps now but there are toooooooooo many campers compared to MW1, i was in the top 7000 in the world on that, struggling to run round a corner on this one without some wee tit hiding as i go past. Should get better i hope but still kicking ass, only problem again is the connection being pretty hit and miss. Feel free to add me and maybe start a SIDC clan, lol Psn id: bluenosewrx
  10. My First Subaru: My Spec C My latest car, now for sale: Mac
  11. its true though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i find that straight after the big fall out with scoobynet and subsequent(sp) move to here it was all good at first, however i think that the general banter and commitment from ALL people on here has waned(me included), i have attended a few meets and hope to do more in the future. I find scoobynet a better place usually and more technical and general questionsl stuff is answered quicker on there, thats only my opinion. I also go on scottish scoobies.net as well and find that a more livier although younger crowd. This is not a dig at anyone on here as i am extremely proud of the charity work done on this site by the few and the RO's etc have all to be commended. Just my tuppence worth. Mac
  12. Looks lovely mate, If you dont mind what was a rough price for the fitting and alignment and how long did it take??? Mac
  13. I would have that in a flash if the price is right. lights look like the 370z ones. Mac
  14. No mate, i have had mine on for about 5k now, apert from them maybe wearing quicker than i thought and coating my alloys in severe brake dust they have been great. i have the discs as well and the fade free braking on long runs has been excellent. Mac
  15. I see stephen most mornings about 7-7:15 as i go to the gym at aquatec in Motherwell, usually in works car so dont even atempt a wee wave etc. Plus its far to early and i am still asleep, lol Mac
  16. My Spec C did, maybe the first owner took it off. nice car though. Mac
  17. Lol at me, there is another one then, has a large what looks like a 22b replica one with roof scoop, i have sen stephens a few times in that car park, also a blue hawkeye wrx parks there sometimes. Mac
  18. I have seen stephens in there before, has a stuck on roop scoop???, saw you in hamilton last week gordon mate going down quarry street, i was in uniform walking back up to my ofice. Mac
  19. That is a Spec C, As mentioned RA-R was hawkeye only, that also might have been a motorsport version originally as it looks like it still has the rubber pedals. The motorsport ones came with rubber pedals, throwaway interior, steel wheels and pish brakes as they were for motorsport only, but you could still buy one and change the interior ,whells etc, i know there was a white one in Scotland for sale about 2 years ago(not this one) Mac
  20. I would also like to know roughly how much this would cost, group buy anyone????, Frank Pm me if you want and where are your premises mate. That looks stunning, would also be intrested in a engine bay clean as well. Mac
  21. Noise wise mate, i think my current car is just as noisy TBH, in the Spec C all the panels are lighter, no cigarette lighter, no passenger sun visor, the list goes on and on Mac
  22. Why dont you just get a Spec C then Barry, makes more sense than stripping it all out and even then if you want to strip a spec c then it will be EVEN lighter again. When i had mine the sound deadining did not mak that much difference IMO. Mac
  23. John, there was sound on mine but when i loaded it to u tube it had dissapeared, it was my first try and i should get some proper media suite to edit things, am still learning though so hopefully next time it will flow a lot better. It is agood setup on the camera and mount and the camera is the size of a i phone so very handy. wil try and actually add music next time. Mac
  24. This mount: http://www.b-hague.co.uk/ball_head_with_su...n_foot_sm10.htm This camera(not refurbed one though) http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Toshiba_Cam...=ToshibaCamileo Mac
