  1. Thats bad mate, feel for you, i always now park at the very end of car parks where no one else does, but when i come back there is always someone parked near me with spaces all around, crazy. I drives my missus mad when i circle car parks lloking for a good spot, ie last one on a row so i have more room etc. Its ok when the wee man is on board as the mother and baby spaces are the best, lol Mac
  2. Burgy51, i dont know you mate but i feel gutted for you and hope you get it squared, as for that other punter, lol haven't read text like that since i read Irvine welsh's books. Mac
  3. Lol check the date of the first thread. I also phoned a few times in the past and asked about a couple of cars, did not seem to be forthcoming with answers either so i walked away, glad i did. I am sure they have a car advertised as a spec D but does not match up. Mac
  4. Thanks for taking th time to reply guys. Mac
  5. As title, is it a easy fit and does anyone have any tips, it for a MY006 Hawkeye STi, and what did you do with the badge??? Thanks in advance. Mac
  6. i'll touch anything me!!!!!!! Mac
  7. there is a few things that stand out there: 1. Why is it still reading KM's??? 2. Obvious modded but no mention in ad 3. All sorts of electrical gismos on dash, would be asking q's about them 4. Induction kit fitted, has it been remapped for UK fuel?? 5. is it SVA'd and delimmited?? 6. Check the service history Price is far to high IMO and high miles (although it does say Km) tell your mate to keep looking as there is plenty out there. Why not put up here what he is looking for and people will gladly help. Best of luck. Mac Mac
  8. Mine now fitted as well, went to the garage in Motherwell after all, done a fantastic job and well pleased with the whole package Need to watch my driving now as i keep looking at the gauges and not the road. Would put pics up but dont know how. Mac
  9. i wouls say no as well mate, i done the same thing when i got rid of my first scooby(WRX Bugeye) and got a 350z, really enjoyed that car and would prob get another if it suited me, I then got a Spec C and now have a Hawkeye STi( black one you have seen in the Well). It always pulls you back mate, i feel the urge now and then as well and have found myself drawn to Q7's at the moment but keep telling myself to stick tifght as i have been in this situation before. IMO. Mac
  10. love the before and after look there, lol Clean as a whistle in first pic then when you get home its shows you had a good drive back lol, I have the same car with plenty of mods though, murder to keep clean. Mac
  11. Thanks for the info Scoobysailor. Mac
  12. No mate, I use them for servicing etc and have no problems with their service etc, My next service(30,000 +MOT) is not till March 2009 and would get them to do all that at the same time but its in the middle of nowhere and to just leave it there and go into Bieth ,Dalry etc is not worth it as i originally come from the area and know what its like, lol They will still get my service etc but for this it is ATM a no-goer, logistically is not goog TBH. Wil prob go to the "Garage" or Hypertech, got some leave in a couple of weeks and will prob make a day of it, is hypertech near the town centre and has Falkirk and good shops(never been, lol)?? dont want to drag the missus and wee man(7 months) all the way there for nothing when i could have stayed in Motherwell and got it done there. Sorry for the long post ,hopefully you know what i mean. Mac
  13. Have just spoken to Duncan @Hypertech and he has quoted £132 Fully fitted. still cheaper than the garage althought i would prob use more petrol . Sounds like a really nice guy though and possibly get some 4 whell alignment at the same time. Mac
  14. Well that does sound a lot cheaper and i also would be up for a price like that, any chance of a GB on fitting lol. also where is Hypertech??? Sorry for the ignorance chaps. Decisions, decisions.lol This is worse than the peeing incident Mac
  15. Looks like i will prob go to the "Garage" as already there seems to be issues arising with fitments and locations to put them, Phoned them today and its going to cost £145 all in fitted.Reckons on a hour a Guage and VAT, seems ok for peace of mind TBH. Mac
  16. Loking good then for some fitting, The4 welsho has a lot more experiance that me then, lol i do not widh to attemp this as i know it will be a lost cause, Stay well clear of electrics ever since i peed on that leccy fence when i used to go out stealing burds eggs when young. I bielieve its the Cyl route for me, not 100% though. Craig if all goes well we could sort a group fitting out lol, i am good at going to Greggs etc for sustainables.lol David exige- i think it was the GB i arranged with revolotion mate, been promised this week some time. Mac
  17. Got some BF DEFI'S(boost, oil press and temp,Controller Etc ) and Pod coming next week, need them fitting, any reccommendations in the Lanarkshire Area????? I have the "Garage" in Wishaw(dont know what they are like). Would also pay if anyone fancies fitting them for me, as long as they get done correctly i do not mind who does it, heard it is a simple job but i am as technically minded as cheese, lol Thanks in advance Mac
  18. Ditto,lol Mac
  19. They must be bad then, because the PF Carbon ones have ruined my wheels with brake dust, however a lot of it is down to me not cleaning them regularly, lol Mac
  20. I have Performance friction Discs and carbon pads, braided hoses and good quality brake fluid, awesome stopping power. Only downside is that the brake dust is quite bad. was about £500 all in on a GB on scoobynet
  21. I used them on my Spec C and now hawkeye STi from reccommendations on here, have not had any problems whatsoever and was really good value. Just make sure you have Cash as the last time i was there they never had a card machine, lol Also you will get SIDC discount. Mac
  22. What about the tyres in lot 66, is there any good lookers in there, only at £20 bar atm. Mac
  23. Guys, Have got a problem on my Sigma Alarm on MY06 STi, the fobs (both of them) do not work on the car, have changed the bty's but still nothing. i have to use the keypad now to start the car and its getting a pain, i have been to Airdrie Auto electricians(Part of the T.O.M Group), the were usueless(seemed he did not know to much about it and seemed generally apathetic) said i need a new unit, have been waiting now for 6 days for the guy to get back to me about it, ie if its been ordered etc, i have phoned them now 4 times to try and get it sorted, not a peep back now they are not getting my buisness as why would you pay for getting ignored. Does anyone know any good auto electricians or alarm specialists near to motherwell/Hamilton. Thanks in Advance. Mac
  24. I got a set of Performance friction Bells, disks and pads for 569 all in on a group buy on SN, standard Brembo callipers, Fantastic brakes and well worth it IMO. Mac
