SEEVERS Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Andy that is rather special bud,but i've got to agree with The Squirrel, the fuel filler cap is FACKIN awsome, with perfect lines like that it shows off just how much work has gone into creating something that looks this good. Well done mate for havin the balls to do something a bit different,it's bang tidy as Keith Lemon would say. Wish you all the best in driving the newly honed beast. Del.
col666 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 That is stunning! All it needs now is a roof scoop, a load of aerials, graphics and some mud on it:)
M8JOF1 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 That looks brilliant mate theres not many of they kits goin about, that will turn heads. Jof
fai17 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 The best and most interesting thread for a long time[Y]
scoobyiain Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Think i will be the first and maybe the only but there is something i don't like about it. Maybe need to see it in the flesh to appreciate sorry.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 No worries Iain, as i have said to afew people the pics do not do it justice to be honest. Well i now have the car back in my greasey mitts, did not get away from the bodyshop til about 2145 tonight. Colin Greer was finishing off afew bits and bobs and the boys at S.I.C Bodyshop (Ian, Steve, Chas and Mark) who did all the work were doing afew things along with staying late, cannot Thank them enough for all the work and late days they have put into this. If anyone ever needs to get any bodywork/ Spraying carried out then give the guys a call and either ask for Ian , Steve or Chas. Their work speaks for itself!!!! Their details are - S.I.C Bodyshop Flemington ind estate hamilton rd Cambuslang 0141 642 0600 [H]
gus the bus Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Iain, you MUST see this car in the flesh mate. The hours that have gone into the detailing are mind bogglin. A very unique car. Utterly awsome. All credit to you Andy[Y]
st3ph3n Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Andy, would the cost rival the GDP of a small african country?
fai17 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 The price for the Genuine WRC Tarmac Wide Ar$e kit is mind boggling on its own....never mind getting it fitted
ormiboy Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 best looking new age ive ever set my peeps on, high five! Spoiler is a work of art, well done all involved [] Cheers Willie
diffbuster Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 You have single handedly changed my opinion of newage imprezas stunning.
G.T. Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I seen Andys car today sitting at Greers, I had to stop and stare for a couple of minutes as it cant be described in words how good it looks still gobsmacked
paddy247 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 One word for this, STUNING, The lines are awsome[Y]
imprezapete Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Can I just say that Andy is correct, pictures do NOT do this car justice, this car needs to be seen for you to truely understand the car design and workmanship gone in to making this car what it is. Hell I would love to have the money to do this cause its what I would love to do as well. I cant understand why Subaru havent made a newage 22b based on this car design. I was truely gobsmacked last night and seriously jealous. Big gratz to you Andy cause I can imagine it was a big gamble at the start of the project. Also your car and its development is widely known it seems, I happened to be down at Chris Allans (East Linton, East lothian) getting the car MOT sorted when I happened to pass comment on your car and he was well aware of it already [:|] Again gratz and I hope that team of 3 car guards keep it safe 24/7 [][H]
the squiggle Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Chris Allan and Bill Greer are long time friends, so the car was probably discussed at length over a Horlicks
ANDYJDMSTI Posted February 23, 2007 Author Posted February 23, 2007 Thanks for all the positive feedback guys and gals. On more than one occassion i did wonder if i was doing the right thing or not and to be honest did not know what to expect with the finished product but i can honestly say i am happy as a pig in sh1t!! Would i do it again???...............................NO FECKING WAY!!!! []
dan_jess Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 When u started hinting about a wide impreza ages ago, i thot we were gonna see a chargespeed kitted jobbie![]
