No optimax deliveries

Was at the imprezas local watering hole last night Shell in Camelon and

was told to fill up cause Scotland is to get no Optimax deliveries for

the next 7 days.  camelon only had  1000 litres left in the

tank and were told not to go below 800. The Woman who works there says

that it will be the same for all the other optimax stations in

Scotland.

Aye...was raging earlier, had to drive all the way through to Cumbernauld after visiting Camelon at 9 this morning and there was none!

That cowboy in seafar is charging 99p a litre, drove past yesterday and it was 96p.  Must have got wind of it.  Dick Tirpin wears a mask McCashin!!

Still got a full tank to last the now!

Maybe they're letting the tanks run dry so they can fill them with the 100 ron petrol they sell on the continent instead of the crappy 98 ron optimax.  I still don't understand why the rest of Europe get V-Power and we get Optimax.

Was 99.9 though, up about 6p per litre since i last used it....

Phoned the misses to fill up the car as I'm nae hame until next week and Shell @ Loirston Aberdeen was out of Opitmax but the one on the other side of the DCW had opitmax. Misses asked the guy behind the counter about reason for shortage and he didn't know there was. Reckoned he was getting a delivery 2moro! [8-)]

I got optimax today in peebles no problems, however all the diesl pumps were empty.

so much for gordon brown saying there will be no price rise in fuel for 6 months
