john mac Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Driving home in the truck at about 4.15pm on the M8 (westbound) at Hermiston gate when two of the above mentioned supercars blowby me.My 480 bhp was no match for them[] I seen them coming up in the mirror and thought" that 911 looks as if its had a roof chop",then i seen the rear and realised what it was. Wow totally awesome ,couldn't believe it to see these two quarter of a million pound cars racing off into the sunset dodging in and out of every day traffic was nuts!! Just wondered if anyone else seen them?
dougster Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Try £330,000!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in the Pagani Zonda about a mile ahead......................................
col666 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I saw one too on Tuesday, I was stuck in the roadworks near Gleneagles at about 7.20am. It looked a bit too normal for a 300k motor, didnt stand out either being silvery/grey. Colin.
st3ph3n Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Spotted one last year on the A80 near the Castlecairy random bottle neck spot. I'd rather have the enzo.

twentytwobee Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 regarding porkers, never break tradition and let them out at a junction
iain_spink Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I saw it on Wednesday, came off the roundabout on the Perth bypass and accelerated past me heading for Edinburgh. What a cracking looking and sounding motor, I want one!
Baz81 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Not to sound big headed but I see it almost evey other day. Its the only Carrera GT is Scotland and it belong to the Porche garage that I see from my office window.. Well tasky car.. They've got an F40 at the moment, sounds amazing !
paul_young2 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Porsche was seen parked in Bankfoot (north of Perth on A9) on Monday night Tuesday morning
Little H Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Ive just done an Armourfend paint protection installation on one of these and they are one amazing peice of engineering.
john mac Posted March 24, 2006 Author Posted March 24, 2006 Nice pics oobster, the two GT 's that passed me were the same colour as that although they were pretty dirty!!Nice to see them being used and not tucked up in a garage as part of some eccentric millionnaires collection! Thinking about getting one just as soon as i sell the house, truck car,arm,leg..............[]
col666 Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Came up behind this about 4 years ago on the a9 near Dunkeld. Gave the old scoob some serious welly in 4th down the short dual carriageway, there was a puff of reek out the back of the F40 and it was away like you,ve never seen! stupidly fast[] Followed it into the Dunkeld hilton and had a good blether with the owner, was one of only 2 F1 tuned f40's so he said. It had F1 on the rear wing instead of F40 and a huge carbon spiltter on the front, good for 850 BHP[] Organised a wee run in a friends supercar in the next few weeks, going to be amazing, will post plenty pics[]
gus the bus Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Well today I was fortunate enough to see the Porsche GT china bluey silver colour and an F40 (red obviously) on the M9 between Stirling and Grangemouth[] ......unfortunately they were going in opposite directions from each other[] ..............would love to have seen them racing. Gus
