New White Sti Saloon @ Ian Grieve Subaru Falkirk - Pics

Hi all,

First I have seen in the flesh - looks good and quite chunky overall.

It is sitting resplendant and clean at Ian Grieve Subaru, Falkirk - might be worth a wander over for a look

(Hope they don't mind me posting the pics)

Quite a few white STI's which is nice to see (including a couple of 330S).

I'd imagine sitting on the options list at £880 + VAT + Paint + fitting!

Looks better than I expected. Notice there is still no rear wiper and I'm not so keen on the aerial, but overall it's not too bad and I could grow to like it.

I still havent got round to "liking" the hatches..But this reminds me of the Saloon Legacy STi's that were floating aroudn for a while.. Looks really sharp in virgin white!

No awards for best looking impreza.. But not bad effort

Aeriel on mine was swapped out for a Perrin one, which looks tidier.

And the hatch has a rear wiper

And it's a FINE looking car

Looks very nice, needs the spoiler and I liked the lack of door frames on the old saloons.

Things I've noticed are:

It has black plastic trim on a lot of the inside where it is gunmetal in mine...

The WRX Badge is on the back again (hatches don't)

It does not say IMPREZA anywhere...

It has the 330S door opening system

It has the common US option BBS wheels

It says Type UK on it...

Raer bumper has been robbed straight off of an M5. I actually quite like the Hatches now, so expect this to grow on me.

I am biased, but...

It's an absolute dog's breakfast!

From the front, looks like the hatch, and that's the bit of the hatch I like the least.

From the back, looks like a Hyundai.

From the side it's lost all the simplicity and smoothness of the previous saloon, i.e.

- An odd, irregular-shaped line around the windows.

- An ugly quarterlight.

- Pillars around the door windows where before there were none.

Utterly abysmal

C'mon Subaru, screw the nut!

P.S. If nothing else, it does make the hatch look better!

Nice scoop! I thought these were US only. Looks good although I think the bbs wheels make a big difference to both this and the hatch. Not sure I'd like it as much on 17s.
