Evening all,

Spent today fitting my Brembo brakes and exe tc suspension. Also changed the hubs for the brembo's. Once i got it all sorted out and thing i tried the wheels i just bought and they dont fit :banana2: GUTTED.

But i cant decided what to do, Do i sell the brembo or the wheels?

The brembo's have the Performance friction disc's and pads. Which are meant to be just as good as AP

And

The wheels are 17" speedline st'2. Which i really like and have been looking for them for ages and now i have them they dont fit with the brembo's.

:driving:

Also does any have any pics with what wheels actually do fit with the brembo's but they must be 17's tho

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP

Thats a difficult question, as st2's are lovely wheels, sounds like your making a track day warrior / B road bomber, so if this is correct I say sell the wheels

was gonna say that aswell, get a spacer on there mate, even an eibach motorsport set, they might cost a few quid but saves you being disappointed when u have to give one up, failing that id say sell the wheels, buy more mods with the cash!

Iv tried both 3mm & 6mm spacers but they still catch the brembo

Dont want to go any further as the ring that postions the wheel will be out and the only thing that will be holding the wheel is the studs.

hmmm yeah i wouldnt go any more than 6mm for the car n if its still touching your kinda stuck, AFAIK those wheels are quity heavy so as i said get em sold and buy more mods with the money, or if ya want wheels gor for a nice set or team dynamics pro race 1.2, nice and light and IMO very aggressive looking on scoobs

Hmmmmm there isnt a great amount of decent wheels to fit the brembo's which makes me thing about selling the brakes.

STi 7 and 8 wheels are realistically the ones you are looking for. Get a set and then get them painted a stunning colour.

And then as Gordon Ramsay says - DONE!!!!

IMO the Speedline ST2s are one of the best looking wheels on a classic, but they are heavy so are best as a road wheel.

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s are popular on Hillclimb/Sprint cars because they are very light but not too expensive, if they fit over your brakes they would probally be your best bet.

I have a set of 10mm spacers here fella, with some longer studs, although i think one may be missing for some reason.

Give us a shout if it's of interest. With these both fitted to my old RA, my Turini's missed the Brembos by enough.

can remember someone coming into the garage that had had this problem, they used an engineering company to skim the calipers for clearance, didnt seem to have any problems with them after having it done either.

sell them craig and buy revolution mileniums like what Paul sti 555 has

they do them in a 17 inch to fit over the brembos or so a seller told me look the same as the st`2 and good motorsport wheel apparetly

Nice one. My suggestion would have been to keep the brakes 100% and sell your wheels and buy new ones.
