Any chance of an interloper tagging along on saturday?

Not got a Scooby right now - but had one for six years, sold earlier this year - do miss her still. Got her serviced every time at Nobles - so know the garage really well.

I'd love to see a 22b up close - never seen one at all.

Just joined SIDC tonight and i find this!

This is shapin up to be a day of days! Im in the Borders myself, dont know if you'll have heard of Stow!?

Im well up for this and was wondering what time you guys will be headin through Gala to Peebles as i could join use there?

I remember a few years back a 22B used to sit in the Nobles show-room, im not sure if that was Colins one or not though!? Im not sure if your wanting to keep this meet strictly scoobies and can totally understand if you do but a good friend of mine has A Nissan Skyline and was wondering if u would mind if he attended with it?

Cant wait till Sat now guys, itl be beast!

Yes you are more than welcome, ideally i would like the Scoobys at the front and the others lol at the back, is the skyline by per chance from Clovenfords I think I know the one you mean.

If you are cool with coming up with me I am leaving Gala at 8.20 as i need to be up there for 8.55 to meet the lady who is bringing the bacon butties, yes I have 40 ordered guys, first come first served lol.

Anyway if that is ok I will meet you at Halfords carpark at 8.20am if that is ok with you Cal.

Hi Folks

Updated list for Saturdays run, the weather is looking ok according to the BBC, it looks as if it is to be dry and bright, fingers crossed x. Anyway a wee word of warning the Police know we are meeting so just watch your speed when you get into Peebles.

There is a Shell Petrol Station in Peebles that serves V Power, it is located on the Edinburgh side of Peebles on Crossburn Filling Station 85-91 Edinburgh Road Peebles EH45 8ED, about 1/2 a mile from the car park we are meeting in.

When you arrive I will give you a bacon roll and a carton of Orange, best I could do in a car park lol, bring some lunch as I have no idea what time we may get away from the garage.

Total Impreza have been in touch and they are hoping to send someone, if they can't get someone to the day they will do a wee feature in early 2009 on the day......so bring your camera's.

Once the garage visit is over there is a wee run organised around the central Borders taking in the more scenic parts away from the main towns, I will update those interested at Penicuick, I appreciate that people travelling from further a field may wish to depart afterthe garage visit.

At this stage I just want to say a big thank you to Mike and Colin at AF Noble for allowing this wee event to happen, I am sure it will be a good day.

Looks like its gonna be a good day with at least 22 cars joining in the event, I am still in Hong Kong but get a flight tomorrow morning at 8am so I will be back in good time for the Peebles meet at 9:15am.

I ordered a WRC spoiler for the car a couple of weeks ago and it should be waiting for me when I get home, it's not painted yet so it won't be on the car - unless I can work some magic and get it sprayed on Friday!!! But this may be cutting it a tad fine.

well folks, rac inspection getting done on my sti v3 tomorrow for a buyer from dublin, he has said if this comes back as ok then the deal is done, so looks like i may not have a subaru for much longer and wont make this event. maybe ill be back in subaru ownership again one day. cheers, Jamie.
