  1. Hi guys, Who was driving the red new age on saturday? At one point they were behind me in the Noble and had their camera on - i was wondering if they had some footage of my car? I love it. Let me know Cheers Kenny
  2. Great photos - capture the day brillantly. Cheers guys for the blast up the road - great fun - thought i'd missed you all but eventually catch up in the Noble. See you at the next one, Kenny
  3. Hi all, Thanks John and Nobles for the great day out - saw my first 22b in the flesh, a memorable experience Not to mention the great bacon butties (lovely). And thanks for letting me tag along as one of the interlopers (Noble) - i was thinking that the Noble is as far from the Scooby ownership as possible (2dr,rwd,no luggage space, British built). It was quite a run following all these 4wd beasts in a rwd machine built for a smooth track and not the single track roads and cattle grids Here's it the next one, Cheers Kenny
  4. Thanks John - very kind. If others are not so keen and want to keep it Scooby owners only - i'll understand and drop out. Looking forward to it, Cheers Kenny PS. I forgot to say is it ok for my son to tag along - he's a big car fan also.
  5. Hi John and others, Any chance of an interloper tagging along on saturday? Not got a Scooby right now - but had one for six years, sold earlier this year - do miss her still. Got her serviced every time at Nobles - so know the garage really well. I'd love to see a 22b up close - never seen one at all. Anyways let me know Cheers Kenny
  6. Thanks for all the suggestions. Just for the record, from another forum, i got the following suggestions ... Mulsanne Motors, Dalkeith. He has a lot of experience with servicing them and always excellent service apparently. John Muir of MV Turbos, Dunfermline. He used to be the appointed Noble service agent for Scotland. His primary business is now underfloor/eco heating, but he is still happy to service Noble cars. Always excellent service apparently. And potentially - http://www.topgear-cars.co.uk/ Cheers Kenny
  7. Thanks Scott for that :-) I'll look into it. Although as you say its quite a distance. Cheers Kenny
  8. Hi all Anyone know of any garagees that have experience with servicing / maintaining Nobles M12? Noble has no dealers in Scotland any longer. In the central belt would be ideal. Any suggestions would be great. Let me know Cheers Kenny
  9. Definitely up for this trip to the ring. Never been before but always had a longing to do it. Will be the highlight of the year :icon_rendeer: Any ideas of the budget for the whole trip? Cheers Kenny
  10. They both were born on the same day and month, i.e. March 1st?
  11. Hi all Any suggestion of a place that will reseal my sunroof? I'd try it myself but i've not really got the time just now and willing to pay to get it done. I keep on going out to the car and have to live with a damp drivers seat - boo hoo. Any idea much appreciated, Cheers Kenny
  12. ... newage, blue, sti (i think), lovely little Scooby doo on the rear parcelshelf :-) Anyways, thanks for the short blast, I was in the blue classic, Cheers Kenny
  13. Weather looks good, so i've signed up and should be on track :-) See you there.
  14. Had a great day!!! Great meeting new faces and familar ones ( you know who you are :-). I thought it was jolly good of Dastek to offer their services for free for charity - very noble of them. And thanks to Spooks and the team - i enjoyed the tea and cakes :-) I got 322 bhp / 270 torque - so i'm pretty happy with that as it was what i was expecting. Although i was panicing for a bit between runs as Gerry was saying it was detting badly over 5500rpm - turned out to be the probe in the exhaust misreading - what a relief. 1. 15. Hi all I fiited an STI8 TMIC to my my99 uk turbo. But I haven't changed the ducting on the underside - I want full benefit of the tmic in this weather. When I'm calling Subaru to order the rubber ducting for the underside of the bonnet, which year + model of STI does the STI8 TMIC come from? Is it an MY02, 03, 04? Is it an STI, STI UK type, STI PPP? Any clues would be very much appreciated, Thanks Kenny

  17. Chris, have you tried the Shell on Comiston Road, they may have it if your desperate. Cheers Kenny PS. What MY and colour is your scooby, I'll keep an eye out for you - i live in Swanston and drive a uk MY99 blue with gold wheels.
  18. Hi Johnny, Hope your doing well mate. I think you had a bad map with the old wagon - although what bhp does the vf30 make? Was that the limiting factor? With the new wagon, I believe the numbers you have a really good. I had a similar setup to you i.e. ~240 and 13.8s at Crail, then got a ECU remap and noticed the difference, i.e. ~270 and 13.3s. Cost ~550. Depending on your target, if you are happy with ~300 then go for a AFP4H and remap. Cost around ~1000 parts. If you are after much bigger numbers then AFP5-16 or 18G and remap. Cost ~1000-1500 parts. Personally, I'm going for the 18G route. Cheers - hope to see you at KH sometime, Kenny
  19. Cheers Dave - i've passed the link onto him. He's currently searching for cost of replacing the engine - so that site should be able help out. Cheers.
  20. Thanks guys (Finnie, colinj and bigbadboab) for all the recommendations :-) I'll pass this onto my buddy - who is still in bits over this.
