Another Mock Up...

Yeah me again, sorry to bore you with yet another mock up, but I think this is the last one. If I don't settle on something soon, then I'm going to scrap the idea... maybe!

Once again, it is difficult to get decent donor images so the mock up doens't look too convincing. The image is of my car taken at KH on the 15th March. I didn't have the original sized image so the results are poor to say the least, but at least it gives an idea. There WON'T be any camoflague with the design I'm afraid - too much trouble and too much money.

The bonnet will have some other sticker and the bumers front and rear will have some other things on too - but these are the main ones

Anyhoo, here it is:

So?

does it have a working gearbox yet ?

That's a negative. But seeing that I break it so often, I have decided to put stickers all over and jsut leave in the driveway at the hosue and never drive it again; like a sort feature if you will, or a monument of sorts :(

Hey fella,

I have to be honest with you bud and say it's a no from me, I usually like that sort of thing - but not too sure with this design. Bloody frustrating I know, just been getting the rally car done and it's a nightmare thinking of something new!!!

Cheers

I don't wanna say this but no...... :(

I like the idea of the monster one, but the mock up wasn't qutie right somehow... The other design I quite like is the team USA one. Now with red Bull livery:

Scroll down near the bottom of that page Blue Hawkeye with Team USA/REd Bull graphics.. Different, but not too different fromt eh SWRT graphics you had before..

Why oh why do people ruin a gret car by emblasoning stickers all over the place, just leave the names on the tyres that enough for me.

Peel tham all off John you know you want to.

mmm.....not too sure about that.

With decals I think you need one major sponsor/logo that dominates then a few smaller ones, that evo just has tons of small stickers everywhere making it just look a mess. If the DC decals were huge if might look ok but not in orange!

Agreed with the consensus on here, the orange gfx don't work. The Monster ones had the right kind of look but as said seemed to be missing something. Certainly the mock up you did last time looked a lot better than this... sorry.

Good grief - talk about back-lash!!!!

Davie (Corsa): I can't peel the stickers off casue there are none on yet, that's jsut a mock-up done in Photoshop. But the car needs something to make it disticntive. The WRC stickers were good for a bit, but the world and its granny has them now. Also been - seen - done that!

Stephen: What is it about the Gumball stickers that looks so bad? I was thinking about doing the bonnet and scoop, plus the spolier in camo. For that I'd drop the gumball sticker and replace it with jsut SUBARU where the WRC one goes.

I think Imight do another mock up in yellow this time to see how it works out...

Squiggle: My pleasure, did the vid work on your N95 ok?

Cheers guys, even though you are a bunch of spoil-sports! :(

you know the gumball stickers ruin that fisrt mock up other than that the orange is quite distinctive. once i got over the shock its ok.

have to say no fear still looks fantastic but you'd need a black car..... don't even think about it!!!! gearbox first!!

redbull would be a good one by the looks of it but the swrt swoosh going accross the door handle would be a bugger to maintain.
