Stepping Down

Everyone, after a year and a half or so as the web editor guy for the SIDC I've decided to step down and let someone else with some more time take over. If I want to get that house with the big garage where I can store and build a trackcar then I need to devote some time to my career over the coming months.

It's been an honour and a privillege to have been in the position, especially during the process of transitioning from the old site to the new site. Working with Andy and Phil during that was great.

I'll still be at the meets and hopefully get some more trackdays this year too once I get my car serviced.

I believe the only thing that's left to say is the traditional - "thanks for the fish"

Thought you were getting rid of the car when I read that title! :P

Your efforts over the last year and a half are much appreciated. :banana2:

Nice one Stephen, appreciate the effort. All the best with the career and glad that your not really stepping down (i.e. giving up Impreza ownership). Are you still going to be moderating?

Thanks for the efforts,

J

Good luck Stephen for whatever the future holds.....hope to catch up with you soon....

You can join the rapidly growing list of people who seem to be going down the track car route...

wonder if there will be any cars left on the road soon....

take care mate ..thanks for everything...

Stephen was a fantastic help to me over the 18 months that it took to develop the new website with many, many ideas being bounced around over many late night MSN conversations. I've said thanks before, but would like to do so again. :banana2: He will be staying on as Moderator and retains his full admin permissions.

I'll be interviewing for a new apprentice website editor in due course :P

Sad to see you step down Stephen but you've done a great job helping develop SIDC to what it is today mate.

See you at the meets.

Cheers everyone.

There's no track car, nor house, yet .... but all being well the next 6 months of hard work - real hard work, not public sector hard work which is like a half day in real terms - will get me my ticket to fortune!

Who knows too - with all these classic track cars, I might just retire mine from active service, put it on the atkins diet and wash it down with a case of family size red bulls.

I'll be keeping my Admin powers apparently, but you guys never really need moderating anyway!
