Got these on mine mate, great bit of kit for the price! I went with the 5/4 spring rating and its not much harder then the stock STI stuff. I also got 3 big brake kits from there, there service is very good and the aftersales. There was a problem with a brake kit and it was sorted straight away. Very happy with the team at Apex.

I would imagine the P1 would be cheaper to insure as its classed as a UK model. My next comment will probably wind up a few P1 owners but all a P1 is really is an Overpriced Type R. Yes it has UK gearing but the rest is pretty much Type R but more Tame! Its also debateable if the ECU was actually remapped to UK Fuel on the P1. Some say it was but im certain it wasnt!

Interesting stuff Dave, ive really hit the **** end end here lol. Having just left Germany with 100ron fuel im now in NI with NO tesco 99 NO Vpower the highest we can get is 97 so i have no option but to run on 97 rated fuel! Im using Wynns supremium which ups the rating and one bottle will treat 250litres of Fuel. Ive not had any problems yet. Alot of the guys over here recommended it to me prior to coming over due to the lack of decent fuel!

Rowley its your car at the end of the day, if you do decide to get it then use it wisely, but just bear in mind the age of your car and components on it. Im having a Simtek ecu fitted soon, it can have Antilag and launch control at extra cost but im not bothering with it. £1052 for the ecu supplied fitted and mapped, the ALS is extra on top of that!
