Dont want to start an argument here boys but ive cut open a JDM and a UK spec Classic centre pipe there was no cat in either of the centre pipes only the downpipe. Were the later 97 on Classics fitted with a cat in the centre pipe the early one certainly were not.
Just phoned Scoobyworld and the lad i spoke to said the Ninja bolts to the next Cat along the system, if that helps you in any way. I assume thats the mid cat told him your car was 04 model.
There is a retaining screw on the inside edge of them, if you have fog light covers fitted its behind them. Simply take the screw out and gently ease out, just be aware there is a retaining lug on the outer side they are easy to break off because they are plastic.
I couldnt tell you how many but there were various 2 door models, 22B, Type R, P1 and not forgetting the USDM, RS model the latter being a 2.5 non turbo version.

Sorry to Hijack but a few questions for you RA owners 1 is the zero sports bodykit standard on the 555 like yours squirrel? 2 ive read somewhere that the 5th injector is a dummy therefore does nothing? Is there any fact in Q2? One last one is James,s car a Wagon SA ie the lightweight very rare version available in 1994 only.
