Crackin but get a heatshield over that turbo, you will be surprised how hot that hardpipe will get, ive got a heatshield on mine and it still gets hot! Going to wrap the hardpipe on the new car!

Looking good mate, i would get a heatshield over that turbo though mate and a splitter to hide the bottom of it. I love the chatter, i cant hear my dump valve over it.

Dave, i played with mine quite a bit on the ring, they look the same as mine mate BC/Apex, If you go to low the rear end will rub bad, i cut the sidewalls on my tyres everytime i went in to Karosell lol. It moves the spring perch mate but on the rear you can adjust the shock body height aswell but it will have the minium required distance from the base to the spring perch. I did run neg on the front but is back to Zero now, are you getting the damper extenders for the rear so you can adjust them through the parcel shelf! If you dont get them with the kit let me know, i dont need mine as i can adjust normally due to no rear seats lol

The Fifth injector on the RA models is redundant its not connected to the ECU. It was put there purely for Homolgomation purposes! It will not do 150 due to the Gearbox, i presume you were going to try it on the Autobahn? A pure RA is not as good as an STI,in the sense it shouldnt have any nice things like Aircon and Electric windows, many do as the first buyer would have specced them up for Brand new! It may get away from an Sti slightly quicker due to the CR Box and its slightly lighter.

I was told by a well respected mapper that the TD series of turbos can more than handle compressor stall. Different story for roller bearing turbos though like some VF series!

As emoe has said, for safety MINIMUM of 2 stands at the rear! A long bar will be handy too for the tight bolts!

Being a 97 car it would be cheaper to source a 2nd hand one from a breakers like Grade A. I think your transmission code will be TY752VBCAA so you need a rear diff with a final drive of 4.444. Any Classic WRX/STI diff will bolt straight on but to match your box with correct ratio is 4.444!

Im back home now mate, its been remapped and a new exhaust put on, last time i heard she was fine. It went well on the Ring even with the crap map! Hard to believe that was 311bhp on thatb map, mine was on the OE 250bhp ECU and he couldnt get close! Left it for dust lol
