Might leave it as the bubblesi n the header tank are real pretty [:$] [:'(] Do i need the heads skimmed on anything or just whack on a couple of new gaskets ?

Not looking good [] did as wuz said and bottle was dry but could here it gurgling away so put a towel over the tank and ever so slowly loosened the cap, shit loads of pressure and still havent taken it right off. Also noticed when the water comes out the top it runs down the side of the engine and onto the coil packs. Could this have had something to do with the miss i had a 5000rpm ? as it did it again just as i was about home. Next step wheres the best place for gaskets and what nightmares lie ahead in the fitting of them ? Steve

Well thought i had the car sorted after new coil packs but took it out this morning and the temp gauge shot right up but the steadied out at half mast as usual. Was changing th oil this afternoon and thought i'd better check the water and it was dry as a camels crotch so where's it went ? Oil had no signs of contamination and nothing noticable coming out the exhaust so could it be a case of just not keeping it topped up or something worse ? Looks like its had a rad fairly recentley but cant see any leaks, are there any particular bits that are prone to leaking ? Steve

Well having had both yes the newage never missed a beat really and the classic is a never ending money pit but with every penny spent it gets better and better and one day everything wil be changed or upgraded. Classics are just great driving cars and its simple as that, the rawness, the way you feel every bit of the road but the newage is just a bit more detached imho Steve

And the coil packs and the clutch and the uprated brakes and the suspension and so it goes on !

Great fiilter and combined with a decat exhaust and scoobyecu chip makes a huge difference on my 95 sti.

Quite impressed that even after a couple of stellas i managed to download some pics from my phone. Apparantley there was a track day but didn't even atempt moving pics.

A good day bit blowy but it is knockhill, saw the red arrows on the way home again as well as over the track. Good to put some more faces to names and drool over some great cars ( think everyone must've taken at least one photo of andyjdmsti's beast ) There was talk of more time attack tomorrow so i'll be heading up as i had to leave before it started today. Bring on the next one and hopefully the car will be ready 4 the track.

Went home from knockhill via a run down the coast road, had a wee tussle with a 56 plate wagon around longniddrie. Some nice roads [H]

You may even get a high milage newage sti for 10k which would be better than a bug Personally a v6 STi Ra and some go faster bits.
