First scoob was a 99 wagon and looking back itwasn't a rocket but a few more ponies and decent set up suspension and brakes should see you keeping off most things
I upgraded the brakes to grooved and drilled discs with mintex 1155 pads which was a vast improvement but to get a bit more braided lines and dot 5.1 fluid should do the trick.
Current car has wilwood 6 pots which are good when warmed up but should really come into there own on track.
Suspension wise personally i'd avoid coilovers as there usually far 2 hard for normal road use and i had to remove the ones that came on my Sti before they bounced me into the hedge
A good set of Sti stuff should do fine along with uprated drop links and ARB's and strut braces.
The man to speak to about a remap and the best options to get more power is Andy forrest in port seton who has put many many smiles on faces round here.
Theres so much you can do and be warned it's VERY VERY addictive and expensive
Steve

Well after many problems and much cash i finally made it 2 port seton this afternoon for an esl live map and i can't get my head round how 1 man with a laptop can turn an old banger into an absolute weapon
estimated well over 350 probably around 370/380 bhp but who cares al i know is it goes like **** and i'm going 2 spend a lot of time visiting the petrol station and
Nice 1 Andy

Ok got it home and on a quick inspection the oil contains the petrol that didn't go out the exhaust and there was a loose intercooler pipe so first thing tomorrow i'll check the injectors and change the oil and take it from there.
Would it be possible that running it on the chipped ecu meant that the injectors would run as high as the originals ? i:e 98% as this would surely pile in the fuel and what couldn't go out the exhaust washed down the bores into the petrol ???
Originaly Apexi induction, full decat, uprated pump, NGK 7 plugs, scoobyecu chip to which i've added TD05 20g, autobahn FMIC, 550cc injectors with adaptor kit, nissan 300zx maf and still to add tomorrow apexi power commander and dawes device.
Booked in for a remap tomorrow afternoon and spent the weekend in a mates garage fitting all my bits which had the usual dilemas but tonight tried to bring it home and its chucked between quarter and a half tank out the exhaust in 4/5 miles and wouldn't take throttle. It is now sitting in a layby in the middle of nowhere drained of vital fluids !
I'm still running the original ecu with chip as i thought that would be better to get me home and i'd plug in the apexi when i got to andys so could this be the cause of the problem or have i arsed up putting the injectors in ?
Please help as i'm sitting waiting for a mate with a flatbed to bring her home hopefully and would like to know what to do in the morning to get her mobile enough to get to andys ?
Steve
When i was looking for a 20g i was warned off the jap ones on ebay, no sure about the ihi ones but originals probably better.
Gus i think you should get this bad boy on track as it would look the dogs blasting round knockers and should have plenty go the way your goin
