  1. There a few impreza with the air filter hidden away in the wing ie cold air induction.So its away from the heat of the engine bay .Have you stopped long enough and you can see the heat vapour or what every you won't to call it coming out of the bonnet scoop
  2. Spec c 03 onwards are vf36 roller bearing twin scroll and 03 onwards Jdm Sti are vf37 are thrust bearing twin scroll

  4. The air temp was a bit high on the two run's 19 first run and second run was 20 odds that must affect the power alot .Never used that octane booster .Vf36 is roller bearing and i am sure i read the compressor wheels and shaft are lighter than than Vf37 for faster spooling might be wrong

  8. Whats the difference between PFR7B to PFR7G wich is in Jdm Sti i have going buy the Japanese owners manual .Thats another bit that reads in English

  12. Good write up there .Were is the ramp jack postioned at the front just won't to know were to stick a trolley jack for future reference .Its easy at the back i just stick the trolley jack under the diff .

  17. Looking good .Will the fabricated manifold be equal or unequal length for the gas flow to the twin scroll .There can't be much room for a fan on the rad when turbo is in that postion .Not picking fault just questions Peter

  20. If you can get hold of a Jdm Sti for a test drive i would try that aswell as the UK Sti
  21. Ryan the last Maf sensor failure on my00 uk turbo i had would not rev above 4k and fuel cut is near 1.25 bar .The Maf sensors are rubbish on the my99/00 years i had three fail over 5 half years of owning the car from new
