  1. Its just the movement when you change up and down gear depends how aggresive you are with gear changes .I get on the Sti

The only time i had a noisey solenoid valve is the way the siren was fitted on my newage Jdm Sti the bottom bolt had been removed and the bracket bent for the siren to go on .I ended up going back to were i bought the car and got fobbed of so the next day at home looked under the bonnet a bit more my self and noticed the said valve was touching the body so moved it away took the car for a run no more noisey .Phoned the garage up and complained i was after a new solenoid braket did not get any were with them so took the bracket off straightened so all three bolt holes are used and refitted the siren a different way to the bracket then bought a bolt from subaru dealer job's perfect
  4. If you like the burble and rumble of your scoob .The Jdm Sti 03 onwards with the equal length headers have no noise and are very quiet all you hear is the spool up of the vf37 twin scroll turbo and dump valve
  5. Are the bolts going threw the rubber dampers for the solenoid bracket
  6. Don't like the look of that Jdm STI .Does not say if its been remaped i am saying this because of induction kit
  7. Check to see if boost solenoid is touching the body work its on driver side strut .

  10. I had my oil and filter changed at Checkpoint in Arbroath .I supplyed the oil and they got me a subaru oil filter £32.14 vat included for doing the job

  15. John is it a fine thread you get metric fine and metric course thread .The like of B/Q and the other places will not sell metric course.You would need to try a engineering supplier in your area that sells all types of nuts and bolts

  19. B/Q have metric bolts .Whats the thread like in the captive nut in the floor .How much out is the subframe to the captive nuts to the floor slot the holes with a round file

  21. Have a look on scoobyworld there is two covers one is near 80 pound and the other 150 pound
  22. There should be a arrow on the side wall for rotation of the tyre if you don't know that allready
  23. Have a look on scoobyworld website there is a strut brace nearest to the look of Newage Jdm sti strut brace .Sti do a carbon fibre and aluminum ends strut brace .Subaru do a titanium one for the Jdm Sti which come standard on Jdm Sti
  24. Have a look on Halfords website for the price of Mobil 1 15/50 oil its £38.39 for 5 litres
  25. Cheaper going to Andy F for some of his expert ecu tweeking and top job aswell .Doing it your self very very costly if it goes wrong
