  1. Farecla G3 Regular Grade Paste Compound Thats how it appears on the tube... A friend gave me a brand new tube of it, and told me to just use it in the same way as wax, however, I've heard this is heavy duty stuff to use so I'm looking for some pointers about how to apply this stuff for the best results. I dont have an electrical buffer, it'll be good ol' elbow grease I'll be putting in!! Cheers, Grant
  2. Agree with everyone else, thats stunning mate.... Black is my fav colour on Scoobs!! Hope you're heading along on Sunday, I'd like to get a closer look at it. Cheers, Grant
  3. Use Zymol from Halfrauds...... Never had any complaints, if you follow the reasonably long process it tells you to on the back the car comes up very nicely. However, willing to give Meguairs a shot when I'm needing a new bottle. Cheers, Grant
  4. Was in a Tesco in Wigan a couple of days ago, they were selling an egg that I could have got into...... For a mere £75 too, I challenge anyone to eat that in 2 hrs!! lol Cheers, Grant
  5. I'm not sure if I'll be coming from Dundee on the A90, or through Fife on the A92....... But I think that 9.15 at the FRB Lay-By is reasonable, chat for 10-15, then a gentle drive over to Showcase, I say gentle drive as I think that its maybe wise to save all the fuel we can for the "main event" later on!! 1) Beastie 2) Rossyboy-kdy 3) Coulster 4) Higgy 5) Zeolite 6) Don Mega 7) Roy 8) Grant Cheers, Grant
  6. Mate, thats absolutely stunning, I love Classics in Black, nice minimal spec on it too!! Any more plans for it?? Cheers, Grant
  7. Ah yes... I have had my name down for The Mad One for a while, so would prefer a different date meaning I could attend both. If not then no big problem, I'll just catch up with you boys another time... The April Dundee Meet probably!! Cheers, Grant
  8. There goes the promise I made to myself to stay off the strip for 2005...... lol Cheers, Grant
  9. IIRC 235's are too wide for Classics... I think that most people go for 215/35/18's instead. Still a very cheap set of quality 19's though. Cheers, Grant
  10. I've got one lying around Daz..... Whats the problem with the Firestorm!? You needing it permanently, or just for a wee while?? Cheers, Grant
  11. I'm going on a 2 week training course in England from 14th March. I think I'm flying back up for the weekend in the middle, however thats to be confirmed. 1. Dorikin 2. ScoobyLav 3. Ciaran 4. RS Grant Cheers, Grant
  12. << won't it match the neons, flamer kit and F&F stickers? >> I thought that Gordon (PIGGM) had only told me about his future plans for his Impreza....... Cheers, Grant
  13. A friend has recently been caught by a Talivan at 101mph in a 60mph zone. It was on the A92 Dundee -> Kirkcaldy Road, he was travelling BACK from Kirkcaldy when he drove past the front of the van and away from the rear of the van....... He (and I) were under the impression that you couldnt be done as they dont have a photo of your face driving the car?! The reason he was doing that speed was that he had pulled out to overtake a van, car and a truck. He had accelarated hard up from around 50mph to get past them. He uses the same technique as me, keep it planted until you are past the obstacle as it reduces the time exposed to danger.... once back in your own lane, drop to sensible speed again. He has recently got a Sales Rep job, and also drives on Saturdays for a Car Hire Company so his license is extremely important to him.. He's really worried that he'll get banned and a huge fine for this, meaning he'll be un-employed and unable to pay his bills. I told him that it didnt look too good.......... Does anyone know if there are any VERY good Solicitors within a 100mile radius of Dundee who specialise in Motoring Convictions?? I wasnt putting the $hits up him for no reason was I, he's looking at a lengthly ban and fine minimum surely?? Cheers, Grant
  14. Got wheels re-furb'd at Coatech in Carnousite too... They came out like new, they also needed straightened. Carl, I could pick them up when I come up for the Prodrive ECU and drop them off down there for you mate. Cheers, Grant
  15. << The guy in the Fiat clearly took all his mods off after he was caught. The only thing restricting my JDM top speed is the gearbox!!But I guess getting caught at that speed it's worth taking off your mods and re-restricting the car................ Only my opinion as to what may or may not have happened. >> That would be my opinion as well mate... [wonder mode] Could I disguise my reddish blue UK wagon as a Jap Import?! [/wonder mode] Cheers, Grant
  16. Weather bad over Dundee/The Hills is it?! Glorious day here in the Kingdom....... Cheers, Grant
  17. Hi mate, I'll take the Dawes, for definite.. Need to cure overboost!! Cheers, Grant
  18. Really sorry to hear about that mate.. I dont envy you boys being out there, but you are doing a great job and I really appreciate it, thankyou. Grant
  19. As I will be replacing the headers on my car for some more OE ones, I need to know a place locally that can port them for me.. I am based in Dundee, and would be looking for someone within 20/30miles distance who could do this with a reasonable turnaround time for a reasonable price. Anyone got any ideas?? Also, how much is it likely to cost me?? Cheers, Grant
  20. Johnny, if you could bring that along tomorrow night then that would be great.. Thanks guys, I'll give those places a bell and try to organise getting one ASAP as I'm aiming to get the car into the bodyshop by Thursday this week. Daz..... Cheeky fooker, the car is just going in to get a wee makeover, there is NO damage to it!!! Cheers, Grant
  21. JC Scoob... Are you from Dundee area mate, I remember seeing a DGM 99 with Cream Leather driving past me and giving it a wee blip of the throttle and a wee look back at me when I was sitting in traffic in Dundee. I would have been in a Reddish Blue Wagon with an SIDC sticker on the back window. Cheers, Grant
  22. Car will be going into the bodyshop within the next couple of weeks, hopefully.. While its in, amongst the other things that are getting done I'd like to refit the headlight washers. The pipework for these is still there, just been blocked as when the new bumper was fitted the black washer jet units were never re-fitted/re-drilled into the new bumper. Where would I get hold of these wee black units and does anyone have any idea what sort of money I'd have to pay for them?? Cheers, Grant
  23. Thanks GrantyBoy, I'm trying to find out if that guy still has those Headers on Scoobynet in case there are no longer any available from this Group Buy. Cheers, Grant
  24. Are the last set of headers still available, I am planning to buy a set ASAP as my standard ones have disintegrated!! I take it that the price is 355 including heatwrap?? Its going on a MY98 UK Turbo. Cheers, Grant
  25. Hi mate, can you PM me what sort of ballpark you are after for the mats.. Where abouts are you, I'm in Dundee..... so if local we could meet up?? Cheers, Grant
