  1. Looking good Simon.... [H] Cheers, Grant
  2. I'm sure I met you and your mates in Dundee a few years ago when you put up a post on SN asking for a local to take you down to Circus/Afterdark Nightclub in Dundee cause one of you was DJ'ing there... This is very random, but wasnt sure you were the same guy before!! [] Cheers, Grant
  3. Good video that... [] Cheers, Grant
  4. Not for me either, still running a TMIC... Sustained 100+ is asking for stupidly high ACT's and potential engine harm. Cheers, Grant
  5. I wont be I'm afraid mate.. I think the furthest south I'll be heading today will be Glenrothes. Cheers, Grant
  6. Yep, just removed one from my car mate... Stock MY99 Phillips Rad/Cass. [] Located at the North Fife/Dundee Border. Cheers, Grant
  7. Ciao for now Zeo... and welcome to the hot seat Higgy!! [H] Cheers, Grant
  8. lol @ Gee... but it doesnt come with the lovely 2.5 that the new Hawkeye uses... Pros and Cons with both cars!! [] Cheers, Grant
  9. If you want a wider reaction, try doing a search on Scoobynet for them.. In fact, I think that if you Google their name you'll see lots of reviews of their 'quality cars' and customer 'service' they provide. Steer WELL clear mate. Cheers, Grant
  10. Do you commute via a car? Yes Do you take your Scooby? Nope How many miles do you commute to work? 25miles How long does it take you? 40mins Do you ever take a long way home? No, a Vauxhall Omega isnt worthy of a blast.. [] Cheers, Grant
  11. The AP's look awesome, glad the rest is sorted and uprated now too... I touch goats too. [] Cheers, Grant
  12. There we go, the lot from me I'm afraid... was too busy driving during the day to take pics, I'll update further if I get some from my friends camera. [H] Cheers, Grant
  13. Blown away by the organisation that went into this run... Grant & Imy, WOW!! The 'bags on poles' idea was VERY good IMHO, removes the need to take chances to keep up with the guy in front in case you get lost on your own. [H] Turnout wasn't all that was expected, however, those that did turn up... made it an awesome day... Great standard of driving, quality cars, amazing roads, light traffic.. I could go on and on and on!! [] Special thanks will go to Higgy for stopping when I had my wee 'problem' during Stage 1... That leatherman saved the day for me!! [] Cheers, Grant
  14. Thought I'd start a wee thread to get all the pics and vids in the same place, I'm currently uploading as I type... [H] Cheers, Grant
  15. Welcome to the forums, I'm on my 3rd Scoob and a large part of the reason I've stayed with them is the Owners Club for the Events, People and Banter.. its fantastic. [H] Cheers, Grant
  16. AFAIK, you cant fit a different wastegate to the same Turbo... an external wastegate can only come with an upgraded turbo, which (if suited and mapped to your car) will give large gains. A screamer pipe makes an absolutely amazing sound, had one on the TD06/Tial Ext. Wastegate on my ST205 and it was something else.. effectively giving you an extra inch of exhaust once its opened up... however, when closed lower in the rev range, backpressure is increased to improve low-down grunt. [H] Cheers, Grant
  17. Haha, a loan of them is all I need mate... [][] Cheers, Grant
  18. I know nobody that has recovered from being bitten by the modifying bug... [] Look forward to having a wee look round it tomorrow before the 'wee run' in the country. [H] Cheers, Grant
  19. Thats awesome, one day (waaaay in the future) I'll be buying something very similar... [H] Cheers, Grant
  20. Thanks for the offer guys, if you're still needing a report written then I'd be willing to give it a bash... but I'd need a couple of copies of True Grip to see the sort of style/way the reports are written. If you've already sorted out who'll do the write-up then ignore everything I've just said!! lol [] Cheers, Grant
  21. Good to hear that True Grip is doing a bit on it... [H] Cheers, Grant
  22. I would expect an increase in Insurance and an even bigger jump in Servicing/Parts costs on some of the 'supercars' over an Impreza. MPG, might be similar though.. the Boxer isnt known for its economy.. My old MY98 was running un-mapped 440 injectors and averaged 11mpg during one tank of fuel, thats less than pretty much any car on the road..... [] Saying that, even a well mapped standard-ish car will only be averaging 20-25mpg realistically and IMO thats still pretty poor mpg. Cheers, Grant
  23. Thanks Johnny... Thats solved my problem in one go!! [H] Cheers, Grant
  24. Ok, looking for some Whiteline gear... Ideally want it supplied and fitted with a full geometry set-up for the run on Sunday... [] Any ideas/links that will help?? [H] Cheers, Grant
  25. I think the ones to steer clear of on eBay are the 'megan' headers.. pretty sure that the problem was the up-pipe didnt have a flexi and that after time this caused a stress fracture. You pays yer money, you takes yer chances. [] Unless your heading for large 350bhp+ targets, then I'd probably recommend getting your stock headers ported.. as Steve mentioned.. Harvey does these on an exchange basis, they've been tried and tested.... [H] Cheers, Grant
