Thoroughly enjoyed it, well done to Baser for the organising bit and to Dan for the loan of the walkie talkie. I think all the scoobies got swabbed on the way back lol!! Quite a few pictures taken hope to see them posted up.[] Trevor, hope you get your windscreen sorted ok[Y]

  4. I had my front discs done up there under warranty, then got the you'll need pads to go with them but you'll have to pay for them....etc. Was expecting that tbh but was hoping I might get away with it. Anyway, turned up to pick up car and was faced with a bill for the whole lot, until I pointed out the warranty bit and then got my discount[Y]. Iirc the total bill would have been about £325 for front discs and pads fitted on a 53 plate wrx, so yep you're rear pads sound a tad expensive!!!!!!!!! Are you happy with the work anyway?
  5. Check engine light and exhaust gas temperature I think?
  6. Can't help with the rear seat but there are some zero sport light covers at www.japperformanceparts.co.uk if you are still looking?
  7. I touch goats
  8. Thanks, have spread the word here.[:@]
  9. Could try here? http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk/Subaru%20spares.htm Grey Sti5 with battered rear end?
  10. Think for oil you should be looking for something a bit thicker, 10w50-60'ish. £400 sounds cheap for a 90000 mile service to me, from a dealer. I was expecting mine to be about £700, but never found out as I sold the car[]. Def try a specialist. Seem more flexible than dealers, ie if you just want an oil change, or intermediate service, or a cambelt etc that's what you get, not you are due a 30000 mile service, therefore you WILL get a 30000 mile service or your car will blow up and all the wheels fall off!![]. Had to give my green filter quite a trim, but not had a problem with it. Is it sitting right in the airbox, mine was quite a job to get in. P.S when I traded mine in the dealer didn't seem bothered it didn't have a subaru history (it was specialist), more that it had just been serviced by someone. Surprised me a bit tbh.
  11. Have a look here, www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk there's a list of turbo's and what they are likely to give. And some good advice
  12. Looking good mate[Y] Going back to a rolling road soon?

  14. Think I've seen it about too, don't know who it is tho[*-)]
  15. Been up to them a couple of times. Always seemed friendly and enthusiastic about the products, and I got my discount[][Y]
  16. My record so far. Waxed the bonnet, work my way down the driver's side, back to the passenger side front wing to do that side........ bonnet had been bombed!!![:@] Haven't cleaned it for about 6 weeks now, not a mark/dropping, but I know as soon as I do clean it within about an hour it will be covered!!!!
  17. Full decat not so good for MOT, sports cat should be ok but costs a lot more. Decat or upgrade of the down pipe I believe is the best value for money mod you can do. What ecu do you have, remap advised with a decat to get the best out of it. Check prices here, www.haywardandscott.co.uk
  18. Use the wonder wheels myself, occasionally!!!. Try not to get it on the calipers, it takes the paint off of mine(careful on the brembo's). Shifts brake dust and stuff on the wheels well tho. I've heard that it is quite harsh so don't use it regularly, normally just soap and water. I would try something different, probably meguairs, but I'm still working through a 5 litre tub of the stuff I bought a few years back! For the exhaust try some Autosol. Good stuff[Y]
  19. Anorak time! Silver classic heading towards maidstone in ditton earlier Very nice black newage sti, pff7's, scooby plate in tescos larkfield on my way in, blue newage sti on my way out Markie leaving quarry wood estate as I headed in Black classic, very shiny, heading out of rochester towards bluebell hill, looked a bit like 8ball? Blue classic, gold wheels heading towards chatham.
  20. Unbelievable mate. I know you've clearly spent a lot of money there, and rightly so you want the job done and finished but I'd be seriously thinking about taking it somewhere else, and I'd be having doubts this guy knows what he's doing!!!!! Hope you get sorted (properly) soon
  21. Try warming the clay bar a bit first. If it's a hot day I leave it on the dashboard in the sun while I wash the rest of the car, or stick it on a radiator for a few minutes. They become a lot more sticky and pliable. When you've finished with itleave it in an airtight bag as the clay can dry out. I've got mine in a sandwich bag[Y]
  22. Haven't had a problem with them myself, but I now work near to fox's so tend to go there instead, as far as main dealers go. Otherwise it's xtremescoobies for me[Y][Y] Excellent service and price. Bit of a distance but worth it
