If KENTSCOOBIES business is to be conducted elsewhere then maybe the whole section on the SIDC should be renamed or removed, as you have just pointed out its not sidc so the club name should not be here also ??? The name belongs to Pele, who took a small group of enthusiasts and turned it into a full club. I have always been a member of the club since it was in its infancy and the club when i joined was fantastic, members talked to everyone, there was no backstabbing or bitching and the events and meets were organised and arranged properly I dont see many events or meets like we had in the old days It has only been since newer members joined the club started to go wrong because there were too many people who thought they could run it better than a WOMAN, which is where the main problem was, if it was Arron or Hol there would be no problem. Even now new members look for a man when they hear the name Pele, only to be greated by a little blonde woman who knows more about the cars than alot of us do :madnoel: The first person i met when i joined was Pele then Arron and Hol, who were the founder members. But it was always Pele who run the club. To his credit Eureka who will admit it himself wanted Pele out but he has seen it is harder than it looks to run the club and has apoligised to her, which is why this thread was started. Maybe people should think a little and they will see that the club would be better run again by Pele, you need to have someone who has the heart to do it. But she does need the full support of the members which in the past she had 100%, then the club will go from the odd few loyal members to a thriving club once again. Tony

Phoenix rising from the flames Its about time everyone realised this and re instated her. The club was at its best with her at the reigns when she had the FULL SUPPORT of its members The older members can vouch for this, things were arranged and sorted for the benefit of the club and there was no back stabbing. Pele gets my vote Maybe the club can restore its former glory and then get better

Why not get it converted to front entry, i did this a while back and it cost me £50 to do it

Hi matey Just get a decent set of 4 pots from a new age with good discs and pads, uprate your hoses to braided and do the same for the rears. Thins will stop you anytime, if you plan on serious track days then you will need better brakes such as AP Racing or Ksport 6 pots but then your talking serious brakes for track use. If you want only a road bias set up then the 4 pots will be enough for you Tony

Sorry to upset the boat but if they do indeed start to use them they WILL be trained and qualified just like a full time officer and will be able to use it in a court against you . It will be done to you to find out if they are qualified though Thames Valley have a training programe in place already so i would have though Kent will too. With such a money maker to be had im sure they will have every legal issue covered.
