i have noticed these pathetic signs also, they are all around stockbridge and blackhall. what the daft t00sers dont realise is that these areas are to suffer a predicted 200-300 % increase in trafic due to rat running so i hope they feel pretty stupid when this nonsense comes in. but i suppose that the signs are mounted too high up the lamp posts to have been mounted by coffin dodgers so it can only be the money grabbing council which have put them up.

can people indicate that they have an opinion about a dealer/supplier and offer to share their issue via PM`s, they would only then uncover the name and location of the establishment privately. or is this still frowned upon? not that i have any gripes personally but im sure id feel muted if id did and i could not share my experience with the good folks of the SIDC

howdy ben m8, this depends on what year of car you have. if you are pre (i think ) 99 then you can only do it by fitting a piggyback chip or a complete ecu replacement. im going down the same road as you at the moment. im waiting for a eprom for my car which does roughly the same job. ive got a JDM 95 and was well keen to get a Apexi fc commander installed (which andy is renowned for mapping) but this cost about £700 which is a wee bit above what i could spend. as the good man callum has said andy forest is well regarded and nearby, and im just up the road in ormiston (not that i could map you car of course) so like most things cost is the issue. ill let you know how i get on when my chips installed as it was only about £100

am i safe to assume that these guys wont touch a jdm, especially a 95 model?? just curious nice to have options even tho im still happy with AWD

due a wee visit to AWD soon myself, got a very slight leak from my power steering tank. bloke at AWD, (grant i think ?) rekons he can get a recon kit so i think i might fire up at the end of the month. Interesting to hear about andy forest, heard good things about him, is he the same chap who gets called "treetops"? im just up the road from cockenzie, (ormiston) would be nice to have a someone so close to home .
