Advice required: does my car need a dump valve?
ormiboy replied to sma01's topic in Scottish Scoobies
i would spend the cash on something else like gauges. ( unless you already have gauges ) you cant know too much about whats going on under the bonnet. and £100-250 could get you a couple of nice gauges stay safe mate, damn nice car robin good to me you. -
gold stars all round thanks a lot lads
-
hi all, can any kind soul point me to a recent thread giving details of a company called premier at dalkeith doing wheel refurbs??? thanks.
-
yeh gordy the very one!! the blue scoob was behind a white wagon, the white wagon went straight on at the brigde which takes you to the karting and thats when i followed the blue scoob. ill bump into you one of these days, not literally i hope

i had a wee blast back from fenton barnes golf range yesterday at about 4.30. i caught up with a dark blue scoob on the road from longniddrie to the karting place, it was a fun wee blast but it just went to remind me that my cars needs a bit of apexi pfc lovin, cos the blue scoob could not pull away one min then the next he`s off then, again im keeping up. east lothian does have some nice roads roll on the apexi, and the front de-cat wont hurt either

on the radio this morning it was mentioned that from now on loud neighbours will be fined £100 quid by a team of 15 council people in edinburgh. They have a 30 min response time which means they will tend to miss people who sit around for only 15 mins but i still think 15 mins is a wee bit long so why not try 7.5 mins, the complaining people might appreciated the compromise.

i used to have a nice splitter like that............Watch out for them badgers, they are never far away
-
bummer but in some ways quite funny

many people rave about andy f from just outside edinburgh, i will be getting some help from him soon he also seems to specialise in apexi gear so should be right up your street with your boost controller. do a search using his name as his footnote contains his moby No.

last night at about 9.00pm coming towards jedburgh from the south on the A68, a poor wee badger decided to have a sit down protest just over the top of a blind summit. About two miles down the road was jedburgh, pulled into the shell station to see the chap who was behind me when i hit the badger pull in after me. i thought i was going to get a smack as i had hit the brakes pretty heavy when i seen the badger causing the bloke behind to have to jump on the brakes himself. He only wanted to see if i was ok tho as all he had seen was me go on the brakes and some creature bouncin about under my car then rolling after me for about a hunderd yards. feel sorry for the wee man.i checked out the front of my motor The splitter is now cracked down the middle so it wont be looking nice at dastek now. so peeps any good places to get splitters from ? and to top matters off ive got a stone hole in my drivers side headlight, any one have a spare willing to sell? 95 jdm wrx. cheers

They do 2 runs back to back but it is very oversubscribed already and they struggle to fit in so many cars anyway. They are really running at the maximum they will fit in on one day anyway. I am sure if you wanted to run at 2 different boost settings (as long as you adjust them quickly between runs) they would accomodate that - however, the printout they give you is an aggregate of both runs IIRC so may not be possible... Brian ta brian. i can adjust the boost at the flick of a switch (with the ignition off! ) but as you said if its graphed across two runs i will just do it at 0.8bar then , 1.1 next time. cheers
-
I might be a little cheeky and get 2 RR's done if that's possible......... i was wondering if this was likely to be ok, do you simply get one run? or do you get a few shots?? i want to try a run with the boost at 1.1 bar after the run at a standard 0.8bar. so whats the story?
