Cheers Tony. Will be calling David at API Impreza (API engines) on Monday to arrange her going in. Its gonna be about a month before I get her back as API are so busy, but after talking to David I'm very confident in his ability to do a pucker job and I'm having the internals strengthened so they will be comfortably strong enough for 500BHP, although I'm not gonna run that its nice to know that I have got (As far as is reasonably practical) a bullet proof engine for track day abuse. I think me and you could comfortably keep that going this year mate [:'(] []

Makes no odds. It all down to personal preference.

The big ends have gone. Engine sounds like a pneumatic drill [:'(] I've got a quote of around £4k from API after speaking to David on the phone for re-building her with stronger internals. Then before I track it again it'll be getting a front mount fitted as I've been advised that the top mount is no good for track days. Just waiting for him to e-mail me with a quote and I'll sort out it going in.

Just a couple of questions Firstly, when are we gonna see the final colour? If they got the sample colour wrong then surely they should do another free of charge. Need to see the final colour before I make a decision. And secondly when are we gonna get a price? Cheers []

Thats sad news, feel for the mans family and his friends. Agree with Ian with regards to safety though. Lets hope they don't now go OTT.
