  4. You will need to bring... A flask of tea/coffee or whatever you want to drink Some warm clothing (preferably waterproof just in case) A sensible pair of shoes but preferably boots to change into when you get there Oh, and a black bin liner...to put your muddy shoes/boots into before getting back in the car.. You should not need any food as MARKIE is buying the pub lunch..lol[] jon

  7. Anthony... Thats very well specced car, I hope you will be able to get some good results in that...Can you post up some pictures? Arron and myself may well be servicing for a mate who is also doing the Kents, so i will come along and say hello. If we are not servicing, we will be marshalling, so keep an eye out on here for details.. Where abouts are you based?? jon

  9. Didnt have time to hoot mate....was travelling much faster than you[]and we were two lanes over also... Stage 15 was getting very rutted after the mornings stage going the other way, so im sure that made it more interesting for the spectators. We were on the finish line doing the timing lights and collecting the car info...and stopping the spectators from walking in the dangerous bits. The cars were doing close to 3 figures when they passed us!! Hope you had a good day jon
  10. Well, i wasnt gonna hang around and drive at that speed...he must be at home now,cos ive been indoors for an hour and a half. Done just under 300 miles today, round trip,(as well as driving the stages in the van...lol[])..So that makes my total just over 1K miles this week, and i was off on wednesday[] jon
  11. Markie....was that you that we passed on the M3 on the way home tonite? About 7-7.30 ish? Thought it might be you as you were travelling slowly on the inside lane!!! We did the time keeping on the flying finish of SS7 and SS15... What stages did you watch? jon

  18. Just a short note to say thank you to M25 Flyer "Mark" for servicing for Arron and Myself on the event that we competed in at the weekend. Just to let the rest of you know, that he took a day off from his normal job of fixing peoples cars by the roadside, to get up at stupid o'clock on a sunday and travel to Cambridge with us . Only to do exactly the same thing when we got there, helping to fix our car in the service area!! Thanks very much matey, your service was invaluable, and glad that you also enjoyed the day [] jon[]

  21. << get subaru to do a waranty check, the battery may have been fitted by them. thet don't always use subaru units if not available sheepie had a varta battery as a warranty replacement >> Same problem with my 03 STI...and the same outcome as above by a dealer. Once the battery had been changed, the problem went away.. good luck jon
