I will split the parts if they can all be sold individually, if not i will hold out for a complete sale. Thanks jon

Nathan, you should be able to claim from the tradesmans Public liability insurance... I think the minimum cover these days is 2million quid, so i reckon that should cover it??? All trades have to have it, whether employed or self employed....check it out Also, most rally prep places will remove the roof skin to weld the top of a cage etc , so you may want to check with Barretts or someone to check costs good luck jon

That burger was repeating on me all bloomin day..... How did it go?? 90left into...burp...open hairpin right...burp.. I think the massive four wheel slide that was almost a spin at about 80mph, followed by lock to lock on the steering trying to get it back, may have had an influence on the burger trying to make a re appearance!!! Quality bit of driving to get it back tho... There were a few other highlights, but i will save the stories for Friday... jon

<< Could of been 6th in class (not trying hard enough ) Seriously though thats really bad luck and i'm sorry to hear it might be a engine out job By the way when is the next event Ian ps...do you know where Ian Godney came >> Ian didnt arrive, and on the boards it said he had withdrawn his entry.... Next event SHOULD be Oakington in Cambridge in February....If the problem with the car is not too costly We need to fix the engine, (unsure of cost at the moment), buy some new tyres (again) fit new brake pads (or hopefully some upgraded calipers/discs) and give the car a general good going over... Any volunteers??(ones with cash at the ready would be greatly appreciated!!) jon
-
Had a look at the results page and we reckon we would have finished 6th in class behind 4 WRC cars(2 scoobs , 1 hyundai, and 1 escort) and 2 6r4 metros...making us the best of the rest.. Arron is making enquiries as to the problem with the car , but worse case it could be a head gasket problem...which means an engine out job!! watch this space... jon
-
Deano...can you please give me a call...need some info and maybe some help with the rally car... cheers jon

<< I see from the results page your not listed how did it go this weekend? >> We retired on SS9 (out of 10), we were going great up till then, running 22nd overall and 9th in class. The car had coolant issues, and without a service crew we didnt have the time to fix it... a few piccies here .. pics from our supporters on saturday... Im sure Arron will be along later with an update.. jon

Sorry you guys cant make it.... We will still enjoy ourselves....

We now have the official seeded entry list and we are going to be car 61 out of 101 entries... For those who know him, Ian Godney (Godspeed brakes) is 5 cars in front at number 56 in a BMW M3 just over a week to go, for those of you who are coming.... jon

<< temp traffic lights out front, . >> Have the temp lights got a radar on top, to detect on coming traffic??? it could be that interfering with your alarm transmitter!! jon
-
Might well be up for going to this.... I will have to buy a car first though...just bombing around in the van at the moment.. jon

We had this problem with our rally car.. All the igntion lights were on etc, car would turn over no problem, but the pump would not run... I checked all of the fuses cos we didnt know if one was a fuel pump fuse(written in jap), but all were good. After pulling the pump out and checking it also , we did some more head scratching... Well the problem turned out to be ...... ARRON HAD FORGOTTEN TO PUT THE ECU BACK IN!!!!! Have to laugh about it now though... jon

The standard stereo/speakers are absolutely sh1te, for want of a better word... You can replace the unit with a single din size cd/mp3 etc and get the hole thats left fitted with the cubby hole plastic case thingy from subaru. I think its the same as the one they fit in the forrester 4x4.. Go onto the ICE section of Scoobynet.co.uk ..... loads and loads of info on there jon
