I thought that you got a new boost solenoid with the Apexi AVCR? Is your old one still connected? If it is , that will be the chatterring noise(solenoid firing).. Didnt Simon (JGM) fit and set all this up? Surely he is the best man to get advice from if thats the case?? JON

What he said above..... Basically,check the spark plug gaps, 0.6 seems to ring a bell??? Too much boost will blow the spark out, and so a smaller gap is needed for a stronger spark. Also coil packs are known to break down at higher boost levels also... good luck jon

Speak to simon aka Jolly Green monster on here...he sells/fits and sets it all up for you, and he is Kent based.. good luck jon

Tony, That ECU is for a 93-96 car with a 4 plug ecu, yours being a 98 will have 3 plugs on the ecu...plus the fact it jap crap anyway(wrong fuelling/timing etc) If you want a good ecu at the right price, speak to Simon (Jolly Green Monster). He can supply fit and map an APEXI ecu for your car...and it is rumoured that he is very good also[] good luck Jon

Anthony We were watching out for you on stages 1& 2, 11&12...you looked like you were going well!! We also visited the service area, but we must have just missed you. I also had a mate in a scoob doing the event, car 41..a white sti ra he finished 16th o/a and 10th in class. It was his first event in the scoob also.
