Hi Sean, That MY06 2005 white Spec C on Litchfields site is around £4K over priced in my opinion. Seen them go for under £20K.

I tend to agree re. the Hawkeye STi UK/JDM, Spec C's a differnet beasty tho' mate!

What one are you talking about, the grey/silver one? That's a UK with the Litchfield AST/Type 20 stuff isn't it? A standard JDM on V-Power and Octane will make about 300-310 without a remap, with full decat, fuel pump, air filter and TEK3 it will do 350+bhp/350lb/ft.

2 X STi's Blue and Black, one owned by Mr Hume(judging by plate) I assume. Also a red blob-eye with roof scoop coming out of Kincardine, don't think it was a Spec C though. I was in my beater, no way my car is ever seeing the inside of Govan!

I just have a Simota panel filter, Walbro 255lhr fuel pump, Milltek Turbo back de-cat exhaust and an ECUTEK remap. The car is running around 350/350. The car feels fast because it is, not only due to the gearing. 260+bhp/tonne will do that! I should also say that the pick up is much faster than a UK car and revs to over 8Krpm.

According to the AndyF, there's not much point. I certainly didn't have any problems holding boost and am still running the standard boost solenoid and actuator. If I was going to change the turbo to a hybrid, then it probably would be neccessary.

Forgot to say, I replaced the fuel pump for a 255lhr.

With that money you'd be looking at 350-360 bhp and the same ammount of torque and a bloody quick car to boot. I've got a Milltek full decat exhaust, air filter and an Andy F remap.

Officially it's still 280ish, unofficially 310-320 on 100RON. It is a 6 speed box with close ratio gearing.

They've had that car since March, dunno why. For peace of mind and if you can wait, I'd import one fresh from Japan. Either from the place I mentioned above or Litchfield. Infact PCM have a nice MY05 JDM STi in stock.

If the Spec C was MY05 or older then you could hire a model report for it and SVA it yourself, but it's not that cheap as the car has to match the model report exactly. I bought my MY05 Spec C from www.performance-centre-manchester.co.uk.

I ordered a part for my stereo from the parts dept. around 5 weeks ago, I was told the part was in around 3-4 days after it was ordered, I was told it was sent to me on numerous occasions over the first 2 weeks. It never arrived, the first guy I was dealing with went on holliday for two weeks and NEVER returned any of my calls. It took another two weeks of calls not being returned and more BS for it to arrive, only for the screws I'd ordered at the same time not to arrive, receieved them the a couple of days later after another call. When I went to fit the bracket, guess what, it was the wrong bracket. Great!! All this for parts totaling £3, don't think I'll be giving them any more of my business!

Sorry to hear that mate. If they knew the scoob was in the garage they've probably either followed you home or have been skulking about your street. Have you seen anything like that in the past week or so?

That's no BMW behind the Impreza, it's either the Atom or the Catheram that was there on the day of the shoot.
