    Evo Blown

One of my local mates is the SE Rep for the MLR. He has blown three engines in 7 years. (70K miles) Not quite as robust as you think they are....
  3. Tells how long ive been absent!! Don't look too hard, I quite like being invisible. It actually makes a change to be able to drive and park anywhere - without people looking at you with their mouth open like a goldfish!!
  4. Bitter??? Are your serious??? What makes you think that?? I had a big Silver STI with HOL all over it until last weekend. Including HOL window stickers. That got noticed. My old TypeR was parked in Rainham Station car park every week day for three years, that got no end of spots (via messenger luckily). Anyway, I thought this thread was about spotting someone else and NOT 'did you spot me' LOL. To cover your bitter point, then NO, certainly not. I just think its worth pointing out to people that I saw them, but that there was not another similar car that they missed seeing/waving too in return. I see lots of similar posts where people are in work vans etc... Perhaps you can start a poll?
  5. Blue DBM Wagon on the M25 heading towards Surrey at about 7.45 this morning. It had a Larkins sticker on it, so it must have been someone off here? Im thinking it might be Baser? I was in the Forester, so invisible.
  6. I have always used Elite. I let that F1 Garage near Toy'R Us do a car a few years back, and had to take it to Elite to fix the damage, Andy
  7. Saw a P1 in Gillingham, top of Caterbury Street around 2pm. Looked standard apart from 18in silver wheels. I was in the Forester, so you would not have noticed me.
  8. My Pink injectors maxed out at just under 380. But that was with an Octane booster as well. The 20G is a BIG turbo, but for some reason the Torque never quite matches the bhp as a squared number. I have never 'seen' anyone get over 400 from one on the Dyno, without running octane booster on a 2.0 either. Pub figures =yes! But, I would have expected a bit more from an STI. Chances are is that it is something simple like a weak actuator, if the Turbo was not 'brand' new when converted.
  9. It could be a lack of pressure, What Turbo and what size injectors are you running?
  10. Arron, Good luck in the future to you and Kim. Im still a little in shock after you told me earlier this week. That opportunity is way too good to miss. You have to go for it. Still, it will certainly be a loss for Kent Scoobies after 6-7 years.
  11. I have a good ford one out in the garage. I can't seeing it operating any different if the threads are the same. The plug might need changing though. - Have left you a voicemail.
  12. My son's team was playing a team from Sheerness to day, at home in Walderslade. One of their parents was wearing a Subaru Jacket...
  13. Most I have seen have around 275bhp and 255ibs of torque on the rollers.* * Considering the that standard UK car with PPP puts out 254bhp/253ibs of torque a lot of us felt when the P1 came out that it should have had a higher torque figure. The P1 spec is in reality the same as an STI5 4 door but with enhanced 'knock sensitivity' within the standard STI5 ECU to counteract the lower actane fuel. A good bit of marketing by Prodrive really, as they never developed a real 'UK' map for the P1. Most ECUTEKED P1's and STI's get around 315bhp/300Ibs with a decat only.
  14. Years ago some friends and I talked about doing this. Then we finished our pints and went home!!! The biggest discussion was about location, as you want a workshop/sales front that is within easy reach of the motorway network, but does not require complicated directions. A tyre fitting bay/ramps is a must as these seem to be the biggest sellers, just lookt at Elite in Essex to see how sucessful tat part of the busines could be. If you had laker road premises, you could sell Bling-bling over the counter all night!!
  15. That could have been the one I saw near Safeway. I thought it said SCOOBY TIBS and not SCOOBY BITS. LOL
  16. Some nice cars there. I cannot help thinking that things are going full circle, - back in 2001, there was a regular Daytime Pub meet down on the Kent/Sussex border. But the organiser sold up and it stopped happening.
  17. Baz, Grow up! I CAN read, as can others.
  18. Saturday Morning (27th) aroud 10.00am near Morrisons in walderslade. Spotted a Black Classic which Im sure has a WWW.SCOOBYTIBS sticker on teh back!! At teh same time a White Bugeye that sounded quite loud came the other way. I was in the Forester, so totally invisible!
  19. You did when YOU were organising it. Then YOU put out a note cancelling the whole thing!!!! (Although reading your comments the fault was that everyone else did not have a crystal ball.) After which you constantly have made light of the whole thing which HAS come about in no small part due to your own actions. Next time we wont be so trusting of you.

(At least its a genuine reason and I have not simply arranged a 'prior engagement' ) If someone wants my football, they can still have it! I won't be automatically taking it off the playground in a sulk!
  21. I think Rostyle wheels may bring back more memories for the old fellas!!
  22. Dont post this on Scoobynet, You'll get no end of comments about Vidal Sassoon tuning parts. This is the same engine as the Civic R?? I found it hard to get used to, for the short time I test drove one. You have to really rev it, which you can't do on most town roads.
  23. I don't know if this is still on?? , or whether it has been damaged beyond repair by all the failed alternatives?? I can only make half the day now anyway, dependent on confirmation of a kick-off time schedule for my youngest on the same day. If the whole idea has been killed off, there are lessons to be learnt by some people.
