pretty much. The blackjax system locks the car when your revs rise above tickover (to simulate pulling away). Whilst de-icing my windows with the engine runnIng, there was a sudden peak in revs and the doors shut me out. Poor old Qdog waited 40mins next to my running car whilst his date drove me home to get my spare set of keys. I always wondered why my petrol dissapeared if I ever left the car with them! I kept quiet as other people were very happy with them and I didn't want to spoil it for them. But now it's all over I can tell.

RM tyres in medway city estate even allowed me to have my Tyres delivered to them and charged about £30.00 fitting and balancing. But, that was only because they could not obtain and supply that exact tyre any cheaper.

I stopped using them when I found that they were taking ciustomers cars home at night. Does anyone remember what happened to my car after the Xmas meal at Ace of Spice 2/3 years back? - Well combine the two situations and guess what type of phone call I received!!!

Monty, have you tried contacting the lieks of Zen and RCM to see if anyone is doing a 'Granby' and uprating from a working engine to a complete new one.

that is soo lame. As we had five people we knew would see it through and not bail out we posted. There was nothing stopping anyone from putting together a team. Shame people just complained about everything instead.

Cheapest security Mod for a car parked outside is a rechargheable cordless baby monitor. Stick it on the front seat and set the gain high and you will be woken up and outside befor ethey know it.

I really enjoyed the day, but have to say that Essex outdid Kent as a county with the amount of people that attended. Lets try and do better next year Ideas already being floated would be to have two cars, and maybe even a girls team?? Anyone interested in next year, should make themselves known, as there is understandably a lot of interest in MLR circles.

Are you sure they are alloy? My DR725 pipes were stainless. I hasd to tap one for the water injection. www.stagonset (im sure that is the name) is where I got all my stailess fixings for the seven. But if your pipes are alloy, you need an ally nut or lump that can be drilled and tapped.

I have some PDF's at home wth the wiring diagrams in, so Ill email them to you. My guess is that it is a wiring fault and although the speedo says the '5' (MPG), the ECU is still getting a reading of '8' KPH and hence when it reaches 180 (KPH) it cuts the ignition when it should wait until 180mph. (although I have never tried that!)

I think that is an absolute given. There should only be one forum. Hence, the open question to all individuals as to why the idea of moving from discussing KentScoobies business on someone else site to a KentScoobies own dedicated forum is being viewed with distrust? When it can give the club so much more. The only parallel I could think of - is the following scenario. You have been using a loan/hire car for a long time in your work. The car does not belong to you, or belong to the company you work for- but you are allowed to use it whenever you want. Your company provides you with a brand new car that YOU will own which has more extras and features than the loan car. In addition the loan car will still be around should you ever wish to go back and use it for any purpose.. Why would you turn down a brand new free car????

Thanks for the comment, However, im not sure what you mean by different club? - there is and always will be only the one Kent Scoobies club. We just moved here from Scoobynet. The question is why a new site- that can offer so much more flexibility and actually be run for people in Kent, is a bad idea?

Thats normal to be 7-8% out for a scoobie. If your car is MY98 onward and the speedo has the original KMH face but is reading MPH then there must be something wrong with the wiring as the ECU is still taking it delimeter reading fro the gearbox feed before 'the box of tricks' and should be taking it after the speed has been adjusted. If yours is a earlier car (without the digital mileometer), then the delimeter is just a mechanical geardriven attachment that sits in the cable and there is no wiring to go wrong.

Stop stirring you!! People are complaining that no-one is organising meets, clothes, or other events and nobody know whats going on. But as soon as we take notice and start organising the club so that there will ultimately be a member respnsible for everything - its complaints again??? Anyway, you did not comment on why (for you personally) a new website is a bad idea??

I originally posted something complaining about certain people deliberately trying to stir up unrest. But the more I thought on i the more I just do not get WHAT THE PROBLEM IS??? KentScoobies is being given its own forum, to be run by its own members who will be elected by all the other KentScoobies members? Can anyone explain to me how this is a bad thing? And WHY certain people are so insistent that this is some attempt to take control (control of what - specifically??). I would really like to know, if you can put it in ONE sentence, WHAT is actually wrong with this idea? Hopefully, we can all move on when people realise they are being given something good and not being sold snakeoil.
