  1. I had AP's on my TypeR. Fantastic brakes on a track day. What size disks are they 308mm or 335mm? They look like they may need a change in a year or so.
  2. I saw it local on Friday and have seen a picture of it somewhere. I just don't know it it is on KS or SN.
  3. Red classic with Black fog covers last night in Lordswood. Parked up outside my Karate club. [Y] Im sure ive seen a picture of the car before???

  5. Blue newage top road in Gillingham. About 18:10 this evening. Sorry I didn't see you straight away as I was chatting to the kids in the back about the footie practice they had just had.
  6. http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop/ati-w...8ed0af728f6aa07 [*-)]
  7. My Defi pod only takes 60mm gauges as well. I think the assumption being that people will be using BF seires gauges. Scooby clinic sell ATI pods for the 52mm gauge. http://www.scoobyclinic.com/frameset.htm Not cheap though,
  8. You will start to think there is something wrong next, as you get in the car and think 'im ure it used to be faster than this'. But, you ghave just got used to it. Dont neglect the brakes though. Choose a nice quiet dual carriage way with one one around, accellerate and see how quick you could stop/slow to under 40 before an imaginary roundabout/right turn.
  9. I was given a brand new set of Brembo pads in a subaru box when when I got my car. I put them on for about 100 miles and wanted to do a track day, so fitted DS2500. I still have the rear ones all boxed up. So, If anyone else needs a cheap set of pads let me know.
  10. Feel sorry for the him. I followed him up NDW right up to his house the other day and he waved as he turned off., Seems like a nice guy.
  11. I was down the Gym on the treadmill at 8.00am. I thought i had bad gas!!!!!!!!! [:$] Truthfully, I only knew something was up when I heard on the news later....

  13. 'D' I keep seeing you when Im not in the scoob. So I cant wave. Last time you were outside the house with the Lotus Elise. Did you sort out your solenoid?
  14. ****el engines are very powerful for their displacement. But all you ever here or read in Jap mags is how the ehines only seem toi last about 40K, before the rotor tips need replacing. But, they could all be bad jounalism like the Subaru chocolate pistons or the evo 4500 mile full service.
  15. Well, I took the youngest one down the park and got him riding without stabilisers and overtook a flat out Exige uphill.(Private road). Not a bad day really. [H]
  16. You know that is uncanniliy like me in the mirror! At night when the lights are off. Best way really! (Had to get that in first!!...) [<)]
  17. Does anyone know who these two guys were. They left before I could say hello and I think they are local to me. I have seen this one up in Gillingham (but I was in the 182): And this one in Walderslade village, but I was pulling out of the garage the wrong way.
  18. I also saw Moles Dad's old car on the M2. (Pele only told me the night before Andy's family had parted with it after 4 years), but I recognised it straight away from the cage in the back. The new owner and I exchanged nods [Y] Hopefully he will bring it to some meets, so we can toast Andy []
  19. Hehe yea I spotted you on yer bike, I thought someone's gonna say I've been driving too fast or something lol! Saw you again on Thursday night, But I was in a Taxi after a bit of a beer or two up town.
  20. One hint for those of you who park their cars outside at night. Cordless, rechargeable baby monitors. The kind that trigger when the volume reaches a certain point. Stick one on your front seat and the receiver by your bed every night. If someone professional bypasses your alarm, but opens your door, it will wake you as if you were in the car.
  21. Sextons fitted all my alarm and stealth stereo parts. Matt the owner is an old school mate and Ian the other partner is a mate ive known for over 20 years. Matt's wife also has a scooby, so happy for you to mention me/Kent Scoobies. They are also the most local to you.
