The guy they have racing the Type25 Litchfield car was there the day I had my AST's fitted last year. He went out in one of the new 25's while I was waiting for my parts to be fitted and came back saying that it WAS fantastic, for a raod car. I thought about a test drive, but my conscience would not let me as I had just spent all my spare cash (about the same as T25) on buying an doing up my house. I thought it was a good quote though.

The only Bling I have is from my Front Mount hard pipes. but, I did get some carbon covers from a group buy on SN. Just to be different. I think the best thing anyone can do, is to keep their engine bay clean and tidy up any chipped covers etc. Then replace corroded bolts with stainless and polish/paint anything that looks plain worn.

I think we are going to leave about 7.00am, getting to the Tunnel about 7.30. With stopping time at trhe M1 services or allowance for traffic, we should be there for 9.30 at the secure parking (I have the post code in my Satnav). That should allow us to park and buss to the venue for the start. Do you still want to meet up on the way?

I have to be honest here and say that I don't think I know the guy?? Do I owe him money??? [] I know of the company and may have spoken to people there in the past. Its also very possible he is talking about one of the other founder members of Kent Scoobies.GURU/GTBLtd etc, or even Pele? It does sound like a good idea though, if you wanted to take it forward im sure nobody would have any objections. The way things should work is that all national/SIDC events etc, will normally be organised by Pele, but if anyone has any local ideas they are free to organise them. The one caveat is that they check with Granby or Pele to make sure that it does not conflict owith one of the larger events that amy be expecting a large KS attendance. Splitting attendance would obviously affect this. HOL

Im back down to Bob myself in two weeks to have the water injection taken off mine. Mapping has gotta be the best tuning money I have spent so far. You get a health check as part of the exercise and know that it will run fine.
