it is possible but classic wise if you got a six speed box from a classic it would be a import therfor the diffs are different and you would require the donors diff as well if you want a kit grade A do a one http://www.gradea-subaru.co.uk/first.html however im sure if you sourced the parts yourself you could possibly do it cheaper but as you can see the kit is for a STI ver 7 or 8 so alot newer gearbox

00 to 02 uk wrx's had a gearbox casting fault if i remember corectly i remember a few owners on here having to replace the gearbox but to be honest if you get a second hand gearbox and clutch you can have them fitted for about 550 all in if you know a good garage that charges reasonable rates iv just had it done on my classic befor i sold it

try giving them a ring sounds like you may be confused they are very knowlegable it may be if you take the car to have the zorst put on they will fix it for you their and then they will sell you any fix that you will need just going their is a experience iv enjoyed every trip (lol leave your wallet at home though it can get expensive when your sat watching your car having work done you always want moor lol)

LOL thanks guys nice to see a few moor old faces still around and trying to catch up with milage lol well its time to retire the old girl at 230K clutch went and took out some of the gearbox housing for the cluth fork pivot so got a 2nd hand box and new clutch, and then a 04 STI at a price i couldnt refuse droped into my lap as soon as i can get a pic up i will as for my travelling im cutting it down on this one i have a second car a pug 206 2.0l td hdi with a chip which is nifty enough and goes alot further to the gallon just want a wrc body kit on both and probably sticker both up and il be happy. Good to see you guys again hopefully il be around a bit moor from now on lol il have moor time when i get back down the gulf

Yep in the end the "3rd pty's" insurance company acepted blame on her behalf 100% (she was still arguing and costing them money lol) im only sad that i go away soon and iv just got my new new are you still driving the same beast?

TSL are very good and very informative just give them a call and they will tell you anything you want to know with respect to jap import and CEL i had a decat down pipe on a UK Turbo and they knew there would be no problems with CEL befor they put it on they even explained what causes it to come on and i had it on car for over 8 yrs

have you tried running small amounts of water down each lead indevidualy and listening to engine to see weather or not it starts missing then over the coilpack this should eliminate leads and pack also check you havent got too much oil in as this will shoot up to your boost cont solenoid and shut of the turbo

higuys im after somwhere in the midlands that does rally days (i dont mind travelling) their are many places but i want to know if anyone has gone somwhere they would recomend and that they used a scoob iv had some friends do the experience days from boots, virinetc they werent impressed so i thaught id postto see if anyone had some better ideas on here

Hi guys am after a website with the history of all types of rallying showing development of group A and notoriouse groub etc i have to give a 15 minut brief at work with the aid of powerepoint etc but im not alowed to have a work orientated subject so decided to do somthing on the history of rallying possibly throw in a couple of rlly legends etc dont think i should be too biased towards subaru so any sites with good pics of different manufacturers carsand drivers etc would be apreciated oh and anyone with any web sites showing how to se powerpoint to its full potential i.e. change slide to show brief clip of rally car come round a corner then put on top of he ended clips etc this would be v much apreciated
