  6. Cool thanks, I have given him a call I know there are a few trailer hire places in Aberdeen but it's trying to find out where I can pick it up out of working hours!
  7. That they might want to lend/hire to us?
  8. Car is back at The Garage now....has been given a quick check over, and apart from the damage to the ignition barrel and door lock seems to be fine They've tried to take off some of the stickers, but obviously given up with it IT'S BACK
  9. In an underground residential car park in Edinburgh, just about a mile from our flat where it was stolen. The plates and the tax disc were removed, which makes me think they were trying to hide it for now, rather than it being ragged and then dumped Bit silly though...it's not exactly an inconspicuous car with all the stickers on it!
  10. You're not the only one! We had given up on it and were meant to be picking up it's replacement this weekend!
  11. Initial signs seem good. I haven't actually seen the car, but Adam's brother went to have a look at it before it was taken away. Fingers crossed the engine is ok I'm trying to get it transported over to The Garage asap so they can start it up and check that everything is still on the car that should be

  15. I can't believe it's gone!
  16. Stolen this evening in Leith/The Shore area of Edinburgh If anyone has seen it after 2pm on Friday please let us know
  17. Oh my god...I've just come on here for the first time in ages and cannot believe the number of posts about stolen scoobies It makes me almost glad that I don't have mine anymore. It annoyed me enough all the damage that was done to my car whilst retards were attempting to steal it. Hope you get it all sorted out
  18. I was stuck in a 2 hour tailback at the bridge coming from the M8/9 on Saturday. I would think that it would be quieter first thing in the morning though
  19. New stickers, wheels and tyres for the weekend Just need to get the car back from the garage now!
  20. Not had a car serviced at The Garage, but they've done a fair bit of work on the Skyline and would definitely recommend them
  21. Strange...I got mine done there before I sold the impreza and I'm sure I paid £35 all in per corner
  22. ooooo....might be an idea. Got a trackday down south in August, and then possibly another two in November, and don't really fancy having to drive the skyline all the way there and back! It's not the comfiest!
  23. Does anyone know of any places that hire flatbeds / recovery trucks? We're going to look into buying one eventually, but would be quite handy to have one for the trackdays down south that we're planning for this year
  24. they are friggin beautiful part of me still wants one.... hmmmmmm
  25. Is it not the case that the 22b is a 2.2l, but has a smaller turbo than the TypeR so the two of them kind of make the two cars pretty much even power wise? I had a typeR....loved it Would love a 22b, but can't really justify spending £10k more just to have wider arches. I looked at them a couple of years ago and there were a few for sale for £16k ish, it would seem that they have gone up in value since then
