  1. << How about a STi strut-brace? >> Mmmm nice idea - do they actually make any difference to the handling of the car or are they just for show???? No denying they look cool though.....another one to the potential list. Ta Oobster 1. Samco Hoses 2. Window Tints 3. STi Strut Brace 4. ?????? Anymore???
  2. << samco hoses window tints flamer kit road angel (add £50) **** this has to be the purchas i think**** >> I like the idea of the first two, although I would be worried about tints with the police crack down at the moment. I don't think a flammer kit would work on my car as I have all the cats still in place. Road Angel - nice idea but they always look stuck on and are they not becoming totally illegal next year anyway?? Thanks for the ideas - anymore peeps out there with pearls of wisdom.......... Dave
  3. Howdy guys and gals, I am needing to enlist your creative help on potential XMAS pressies for the scooby this year. I was thinking to maybe spend up to £200 but I am drawing a blank - this is where your help comes in. Anyone with potential ideas please post them up. Before anyone says get defi's - yes I am looking in to that at the moment but it is a little expensive as a XMAS present to myself....... Thanks guys Dave
  4. I have seen this in Craigs car and it looks pretty cool...................someone must want this as a XMAS pressie. Dave

A Honda Civic Type R - my first properly fast car............ 5.) THen the beast................ Dave
  6. << black may or may look ad-on but I think it looks great as it is. Plus, there are no colourmatching issues aftrer the winter when the stone chips and winter abuse required fresh paint. 1 tin of black spray paint and a warm area to work in and you'll have a fresh-looking lip spoiler ready for summer "pimpin" homie Russell >> Ta for that mate! Did you get my PM regarding the defi's?? Dave
  7. Thanks I think I will leave it black for the moment. I am loving the menacing look. Dave
  8. For me it is a toss up between the dark anthracite prodrive alloys or the splitter.................. Nae, what am I thinking it has to be the EcuTek 3 Custom Remap.............. Dave

Are you going for the Prodrive geometry setup and if so how much is it if you don't mind me asking? Sounds like the car is coming along nicely!! Dave
  11. << Leave it BLACK M8, looks menacing! Russell >> That's what I thought, but the Mrs has other ideas............. Dave
  12. Ha ha there is always someone.......... Craig so when are your teins turning up?????? Dave

  14. << Dave you know I'm always right keep it black m8 Marc >> PS: I am liking your avatar - how did you manage that??? Dave
  15. scoobyuk300, Am I right in assuming that the UK300 doesn't come with the Brembo brakes? If you are not going totally silly with engine mods the STi brembo brakes should be more than up to the job! Dave
  16. They are Prodrive PFF-7 copies that I had sprayed a darker anthracite colour. I think they go really well with the crystal grey paintwork. But then again I would.......... Dave
  17. Mmmmm Quite a big drop compared to the Prodrive springs. I bet she'll look the dogs when they are fitted............... Dave
  18. Thanks for all the positive comments guys. The more people to say leave it as it is the better as I'll show this thread to her when she gets home tonight.......... Dave
  19. << Looks superb. Keep it as it is IMO....or give it to me. The only 2 options really. >> - Ha ha I'll keep that in mind............ Dave
  20. How low do the tein springs drop the car?? Dave
  21. Swapping wheels????? I was of the opinion of leaving the splitter black but I have to admit I am wondering what it would look like colour-coded............ I do however love the fact that the front end of the car looks really mean now. Dave
  22. Howdy guys and gals, I just can't help myself at the moment regarding mods for the scooby. Well a big thanks has to go out to Marc (aka Boyakasha) for taking the time to supply and fit the Scot Lowe STi splitter to my car on Sunday. I had been wanting to go for the S203 look on the front on my car - and at the moment I think it looks really good (and more importantly mean as ). However, the Mrs is making noises that i should colour code it. I am undecided.......... What do you guys think???? Here is a picture of the S203 front end.............. And here are some of my baby................ Dave
  23. I use it to talk to family members over in Bahrain. Great product - lets us keep in contact without monster phone bills or the hassle of writing emails all the time. Dave
