<< I have just got back. and I am amazed. at how much fuel I used. Stirling to Campbelltown - 147 miles in 2hr27min and used 39.83 Ltrs of Fuel (one way) Any one work out how many (few) miles to the gallon that is. >> If you want to work out your own MPG in future this is how. 1. Take the number of litres you filled up with and divide it by 4.54 (that'll convert it into imperial gallons) so for this case it is 39.83litres / 4.54 = 8.77 gallons 2. Obviously then take the number of miles you covered and divide it by number of gallons consumed so for this case it is 147 miles / 8.77 gallons = 16.76 miles per gallon. It really is very simple as long as you can remember the litres to imperial gallons conversion factor (4.54). Hope that helps Dave

As the title reads - I am well chuffed with my Mrs's effort for my Christmas present this year. She has organised for me to get tints on the scooby. Now I am not a fan of having blacked out windows on the rear and nothing on the fronts - so I am getting medium tints all the way around. How cool is that?? I know these will be technically ilegal on the front side windows (not by much though) but I want to have the same light tint all the way round. I think that they will finish off the exterior look of the car a treat. What do you guys and girls recon? This is what she looks like at the moment And hopefully I'll be able to post a new picture of the car + tints on Tuesday. Fantastic effort by the Mrs............ Dave

I was in at the Aberdeen dealership looking for potential cars for my uncle a few weeks ago and I was able to get around £1500-3000 off the list price of the cars and that was with a trade-in and I wasn't even pushing hard - so I think there is room for more. Which sort of brings the cars back into align with expected prices. If you are going to talk to anyone at T&C Aberdeen make sure it's Mike, the others really don't seem to give a rats IMHO. And as Cal said when you are serious about a car try and get mudflaps, carpet mats, fuel, superguard, etc thrown in. What's the worst that could happen? There is something to be said about the piece of mind you get from buying from a main dealership - but make sure you are not paying through the nose for it!! Dave
