Bodywork looking good John - well done on your efforts - but may I offer a small criticism?
The mudflaps.
The inside of the mudflaps to be precise. I KNOW cleaning the inside of the mudflaps is perhaps taking things a little too far, but all it takes is another 2-3 minutes going round them with a brillo pad. I've been doing mine (Scott Lowe flaps) and I feel it makes for a much better look.
Mind you, I had my mudflaps off yesterday & today, scrubbed both sides of all 4 in the sink (Mrs wasn't chuffed!) then sanded down the brackets. I then gave each bracket two coats of grey primer then 3 coats of lovely 22G Subaru Red (aerosol sourced from Scott Paints, Chapellhall).
Finished them off with some new white 'stars & swooshes' logos (the ones that were on there were a bit scruffy) then painted all the bolts with the Subaru touch-up pen too.
All nice & colourcoded!
Who is the lassie in the last pic BTW?
