Ive got the same problem, the car limits its self to 0.5 bar of boost and it "feels" like the turbo isnt working. It only ever happens when the car is warm after a good run, then I sit ideling for a while, then take off again. I mean hard driving, sitting then hard driving. After I take off it limits itself. Normal driving where strating and stopping is never a problem. I was told it was possibly heat soak that wqs the problem. Ill have to get the boost soloniod looked at. Al

Lots of people have said that putting 19s on a subaru was stupid and the car wouldnt handle properly. Well Ive had mine on for the past 9 months and I bet it has handled as well as any another subaru with the same power/mods, and in my opinion probably better. I just seems to sit well on the road. Reason I think its better is Ive just put my original 17s back on while the others get refurbed and I hate the way the car goes arround the corners now. It feels so spongy whith more roll and there is no way I feel as confident with it. To be honest I can wait to get the 19s back on. Obviously the 19s are wider and the tyre wall is not as deep which helps but I forgot how much I hated the 17s in the first place. I still wouldnt do a track day with the 19s on but Ive never had any problems on the road when my right foot gets itchy. I know there are a few with 18s on but does anyone else have 19s on thier scooby. Al

1 - If your sidelights won't switch off look for the parking light switch on top of the steering column . 2 - Use the search function on the forum before asking the same old question . 3 - The best first mod for an impreza is the exhaust (backbox at least) 4 - Buy a newage 5 - Make sure you get regular quality oil / filter changes every 3 - 4000 miles 6 - Always run the car on good quality fuel - V Power/BP Ultimate/Tesco 99 and add octane booster for safety in an unremapped import 7 - Avoid "chip"ing an impreza - get it remapped by an expert like Andy Forrest (Apexi for classics, ECUtek for newage) 8 - Sell the Newage and buy a Classic 9 - Always wait till the engine is nice and warm before giving it full pelt and let it cool down befrore switching it off 10 - Upgrade your brakes before modding the engine 11 - A VTA dumpvalve isnt really a good idea unless your car is getting remapped to compensate for it. It will momentarily make your car run rich as the ecu gives fuel for air which has been dumped and not recirculated. All you are missing is the gay noise. 12 - Solid rear droplinks and a decent suspension geometry set-up are probably one of the best sub-£100 modifications you can do to a standard car. 13. new ages will undertseer when at the limit 14. If you have a classic get Strutt Braces. The improvement is outstanding! If you have a new age...no luck! loL! 15. Clean out the boost solenoid once in a while and dont fill engine oil right up to max. 16.Go to the SIDC track days at knockhill, you get free tuition from an instructor if you want (plus ensure you wear Cat boots far better that way!!!!) 17. I would go for the 205 as well, thats only cause i bought one last week [] You dont have to spend lots to get a good one. I just got a mint one for 500 notes, just spend the time looking for one and you will find it. I was very luck as this one has had an engine rebuild and a rear beam rebuild along with all mots and reciepts for over 6 grand. All work had been carried by a main peugeot dealer in either kirkcaldy or dunfermline form from when it was new in 1991 to two years ago. Thats 13 years it was looked after by a main garage. I feel guilty takeing it apart. Al

I use firefox as well. If you go to the plugins you can get one that allows you to open a page using IE in a drfferent tab. Its right click then "view this page in ie tab". Its only needed on some sites as firefox wont display it correclty. You will know what I mean when you see one. Al
