The easy solution to your problem is to visit the for sale section, look at my ad and send me some money If its standard double din just fit a single din forrester pocket available direct from subaru for approx £15 and a single din head unit. The single din forester pocket was the exact same colour as the surround on my car. Al

Had the same problem once and it turned out to be a small stone about the size of a pea had managed to get inside the rear brake drum. Worth checking all the basics first, mind you i did take it to a garage. Al
