  4. Super, smashing, great. << It was kept to a downloadable size, but I could put together a bigger one that could be used as a rolling display on a laptop for events if it was thought worthwhile??? >> Am sure there is a few like me who didnt have thier car in the original thread but would like it in the slide show thing.

  12. So its the turbo making the noise, as long as nout is wrong. It is a wierd noise but I do like it. Thought it was the air filter for some strange reason. The exhaust is a weee bit louder and oh those lovely pops and bangs. Sweet as a nut. Mmmmmmm whats next !!!
  13. Got the downpipe fitted today and what a difference it makes, definately acceletrates faster. Only problem now is a whooshing noise from the drivers side whan i accelerate hard. As i aint mechanically minded am not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Any advice !!! Also got the geometry settings done and the car feels so much better. Just wish I had this done ages ago.
  14. Had a great night last night, good pace and good driving by everyone. Thanks to the organisers again. Ghris thanks for giving me a shot in your car, Lyndsey tells me you thought I wasnt for comming back. Once I get things sorted I will post the clip up. I dont even know how to do that yet Was nice to meet people we hadnt met before. Roll on the next one

  19. Its probably like servicing your car yourself. DIY as its much more fun and a lot cheaper. At least this way you can dynamat the doors and fit speaker pods to strengthen up the flimsy metal. If you not fitting subs then replacement door speakers are easy to fit. I have done quite a few cars and the hardest part is ripping the door cards and trim off you nice new car. I had my head unit out two days after getting the car and fitted everything in a weekend. Have a full pioneer system and it a bit of an improvement over the original stuff. Pioneer DEH-P70BT Head Unit Single Din Pocket with flip down cover Pioneer CD-IB100 Ipod Adaptor 20GB Apple Ipod Pioneer TS-E176C 17cm Components in Front Doors Pioneer TS-E136C 13cm Components in Rear Doors Pioneer TSW-306 12" Subs x 2 Pioneer GM-6100F Amplifiers x 2 Custom Built Speaker Pods for Components Dynamat Neon Light Fuses, Cables and more Cables
  20. any advice on this one ????????????????
  21. Greenlight Insurance The guy actually knew what a subaru was and he didnt have to go ask the manager what a dumpvalve was. Best bit is you can add as many mods as you like, as long as they dont increase the BHP and still keep the car road legal, for no extra cost. I even put on a few extra mods I havent done to the car yet so I wouldnt have to pay the 25 admin fee when I do add them. On top of this they will insure for track use for 85 pounds with double access.
  22. 1.ImprezaPete 2.ScoobyAndy 3. gumball 4. Gordyq 5. Irish Al & Baby No 2 Sounds good to me. Dont get back from holiday till the saturday night so sunday is good for us. If the run takes about one tank of fuel without having fun with the right foot then I think leaving at 7.00pm is a bit late.
  23. Can anyone tell me what else do I need to fit along with my downpipe. Have been advised to get some kind of lambda link thingy to fool the ecu when it gets confused because there is no cat on the downpipe. Just wondering what the cheapest price I can get one for and if I really need one. Is there anything else I should be getting done at the same time. Thanks
  24. He lives in coatbridge Pete. Am sure if you offer him something considering he hasnt sold them both times on ebay he would sell them.
