Possible Group buy: DR Motorsports front Splitter
irish al replied to spooks's topic in Scottish Scoobies
1. Spooks 2. Stevo - P1 Style (1993-1998) 3. ImprezaPete - DRM Front Lip (2001-2002) - Depends on when though as money is short. 4. mitchell. is the sti 4 splitter (1998) not included? per original post spooks, dont need it painted!! you able to work some magic? Interested in the STi 7/8 Rear Spoiler. Know it isnt included on the list but would be extra business for him. -
I had my subaru head unit and speakers out of the car two days after I bought it as it was driving me mad. If you fit a pioneer head unit with an output for a cd changer you can buy a Pioneer CD-IB100 Ipod Adaptor and just connect up the ipod. A Single Din Pocket from a forrester Part No. 66128SA000 for £12 looks very good and somewhere to hide the ipod. Just remember to put it in the bottom din. Got much same as oobster with mostly Pioneer system , 17cm + tweeters in the front doors, and 13cm speakers in the back doors, Two 12" subs and two amps. Had to make mdf spacers for the components but you can also buy puka ones from somewhere. Have a brand new subaru to iso harness going for a fiver if you want it. oobster were you able to fit yor rear door pods using the original mounting pins after fitting the speakers.

Problem is I already bought a set of these and have been putting off fitting them as there is no pre drilled holes and no metal brackets. Have saw the ones in halfords and checked out the proper ones on peoples cars at knockhill on sunday so if you saw a strange bloke stareing at your mud flaps that was me. These ones are inbetween in stiffness and like WRC no 1 says I wont be cutting them to the shape of the bumper. This means they would be curved a little bit and should hold thier shape a bit better. If they look awful or dont do what they are ment to do I will splash the cash and get the other ones. Any help/advice on fitting or where I can get brackets would be much appreciated. Anyone who can fit these and make them look nice on my car and needs some cash just let me know :->

Does anyone know anyone that has fitted a set of these mudflaps from ebay to thier car. Mudflaps on Ebay

Had a great day too and enjoyed the track invasion at the end.. There was just as many scoobies parked in the hill as on the stands. If I had any flyers I would of sent Lyndsey off round them all :-) Agree it was a shame there was not SIDC stand there as nearly every other club in the country was there. Perhaps could have a stand at the next one in september.

Can anyone advise if all tyres should wear equally. There car is a wrx and has bridgestone potenza on all four. The back two are at the legal limit, however the front two are only half worn. The car has only done 23000 miles. These now need to be replaced, should I change all four, and should all four tyres be the same type.

I hate traffic wardens, and by the replys so does everyone else. Got a parking ticket once in Edinburgh and because I am so tight :-) I waited arround till I saw somwone comeing back to thier car and asked them for thier ticket. Photocopied the ticket and sent it off with a nice letter explaining it must have fallen off the window. The parking fine was cancelled :-)
