Ford Sierra 1.6 - This car wouldnt die, it was my dads. He drove it for three years, then my older bro got it for three years, i had it for three years and my younger bro had it for three years, we all learned to drive in it and after twelve long years of serious abuse arround the farm/fields/back pothole lanes and it failing another MOT it wasnt worth fixing. However it still went and only stopped after we ripped the complete arse out of it arround my dads field for a week My own cars over 1995 Ford Mondeo 1.8 - blew the enging up, got a replacement engine, ford didnt change the timeing belt at the same time and it broke. They wouldnt cover me so got another engine by some dodgy guy. Never went the same again. 1990 Peugeot 409 1.6 - went faster than the knackered mondeo sitting in my drive. Eventually traded both in 1998 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 - Knackered the gearbox, got it fixed, then the bolts stripped the cast housing and ended up with a rachet and strap holding the gear box to the engine. Drove it for 6 months then sold it. 1995 - Ford Escort 1.3 - Cost me £250. Drove it for a year andnever had any trouble. (Was the sierra coming back to haunt me) 2003 Subaru WRX - A dream come true. Not sure yet. Just had a read up on his project wrx. Looks like he ended up fitting a set of fully ported OE headers and a solid uppipe. Could get my oe headers ported and just fit the uppipe.

Perhaps a sticky thread at the top without having to read through so many posts would let other people know. So want to go in group one but got pal of lyndseys going who isnt into the whole "get out of the bloody way u lane hogger, AND LEAVE A GAP SO I CAN OVERTAKE" thing. Will see what happens. Cheers, Alan

Ian, as i have aged and got wiser i no longer buy max power and now look forward to scooby mag every month. Howerer u still bought it once Robbo, I agree with u, there is just some things people shouldnt do to thier cars, and some cars should just be driven into a ditch somewhere. But the cars that look the doggys bollocks are nice and just as much loved as our subarus. Agree about the insurance, my first car was a mondeo and it cost me more to insure than the car was worth Karps, we are meeting up at mcdonalds in the morning this side of the bridge if u fancy a wee convoy up. Uve got my number. Chavtastic
-
Just wondering if anyone else is going to crail tomorrow for this. And before any twats start going on about it being chav, its not. These shows are good and you get too see how much effort other people put into thier cars. Mind you I cant justifiy spending a few grand on a fiesta but everyone to thier own. Am sure everyone here hasnt always owned a subaru and had other cars they modified. Am also sure everyone has bought a copy of max power at some time in thier life. Irish Al

Am looking to fit two gauges to my car, dont think i really need them I just want them What two should i get. I would definately have a boost one and have been told to get an air/fuel ratio as the secone one. Any advice. Have been trying to find gauges that will match the standard speedo/revcounter in a wrx. This would mean they would have a black background, a red needle and a green light display. Anyone know where I can get some like this ??
