  1. I've been in for 19 years during which time I've trained recruits during basic training for 2 years and I've also trained recruits on trade training for 2 years. My advice would be to get as many qualifications as you can at school before joining and also get as fit as possible (running and upper body strength). A lot of recruits get discharged due to injury, there are many career choices the only areas of the army you can't join at the moment are the Infantry, Armoured Corps (Tanks) and Pioneers. What to go for is up to you! Check out the website which has loads of info. I joined at 16 as a Junior , you cannot go to Operational Enviroments until you are 18. My personal oppinion is that you should'nt go in until you are at least 18. Good Luck and If you need any advice PM me Karl
  2. Not good. Glad mine is in a garage in a secure compound with armed Guards!!!

  10. My wife has a Fiesta Zetec-S and its a cracking little car great fun to drive you would be suprised.
  11. WRC TECH at Silverstone do it interest free credit over a year. They insist that you fit an uprated fuel pump first though which cost approx £80 from flatfour on line. Think ECUtek remap is £500 + VAT. Check out there website for more details. Don't focus on BHP too much, its only half of the story!
  12. Sure that is STISAN Loud exhaust and filthy wheels!!!! []
  13. I put a set of STI Brembo calipers and discs with red stuff pads on mine yesterday along with braided hoses all round and Motul 5.1 dot fluid. The difference is amazing. I've got a set of Rota GRA 17 inch wheels which are designed to fit over the Brembos. Next up will be new rear discs and pads. You can pick up Brembos quite cheap if you look around mine came off an 04 STI a guy at work bought them for his Nissan ZX 300! they didnt fit so I took them off his hands for 300 fat ones. A bargin!!
  14. Thanks for a good meet Iain, despite the minor problems it was a good laugh! Pictures came out well looks like summer! Thanks for the help fitting the Brembos they are the mutts nuts and look good as well. Thanks to Jenny for all the coffee, I was pi##ing like a bull all night!!!LOL. Have a good trip to the sandy place and I'll give you a hand with those four pots when you get back. See you on the next meet sounds interesting. Karl
  15. Did you have to drill the boot? I want one for my WRX but don't want to pay silly money or have to drill the boot. Do DR Motorsport deliver as I'm not in Scotland very often.
  16. I have needs! I need to see my Wife and Daughter []
  17. Can't make it Iain , will be home in Scotland for a long weekend. Karl
  18. I'm rising to the challenge Iain!!!! Bit of friendly rivalry and all that. LOL

  20. Luckily its stopped as Im driving from Bicester to Camberley in 10 mins it was like middle of the night 15mins ago! I'll be in stealth mode in the work car though! Cleaned mine at the weekend so can't get it dirty!!!!
  21. Excellent torque mate bet she pulls like a train. Remember it's not all about BHP! See you at the weekend.
  22. Nice one mate. Hopefully you get the big 300. You need to do something to the suspension and brakes after that. I ve just aquired a set of Brembo Calipers and STI 8 discs and pads along with new goodridge hoses may need a hand to fit them if you are up for it. I might get a chance to do it in the week I'll let you know if I require your engineering expertise!!!
